Not Trello....

2018-12-31

Pros

I like that it is an easy to use platform, but it doesn't stack up to Trello. Good at tracking, lots of alerts gave me alert fatigue.

Cons

Too many alerts, need to customize to stop alerts.

Wrike is the workflow organization tool for efficient seeking teams.

2018-06-07

Pros

This is probably the biggest advantage I saw for our business compared to Trello.

Cons

We ended up staying with Trello and spending our budget towards other tools.

Good for project management and not as hard as other tools, but a little too complicated

2019-04-15

Worked to implement the tool and slowly start using things. If you do use it, don't expect everyone to be on board and use it day one - it takes time. Also, make sure you have the time to train and get people used to things, otherwise it'll just be another shiny tool that never gets used and costs money to the company.

Pros

I like the functionality and the way this is a step above a simple to-do board like Trello or Asana.

Cons

Wrike is a good program and helps organize things, but sometimes I think some of the features are a bit overkill for those teams that don't need all the bells & whistles. It's not too bad though and I like using it to organize our teams' projects.

Would recommend Wrike to businesses that like a clean layout

2018-05-14

Pros

They use some features that remind me of Trello boards to easily prioritize your to-do lists and see where people are at on each item.

Cons

I would like to see improvement in their reporting section. I am all about numbers, time spent where, ect. Other than that there are not any downfalls to Wrike. I have used a variety of PM softwares and this one is in my top 5.

For when you need more in-depth task management for teams

2018-04-01

Pros

The Wrike sales team actually billed it as a "Trello-killer" (seems to be a popular ambition many apps are trying for) and tried to get me to switch.

Cons

There's a lot to like about Wrike, but ultimately it just didn't suit our team and purposes. I also am a highly visual person, and Wrike seemed to lack this element for me that made it easy to get an instantaneous understanding of our workload by visuals only (instead, I found myself always reading over checklists).

Robust Project Management Software

2018-12-06

They are so helpful. Every time, I'm looking to improve our project management process, they have a few ideas/tools to help.

Pros

So if you prefer Trello-card style, they have that.

Cons

To users, it takes some work to get 100% adoption, since it's so robust.

Wrike boosted our efficiency

2015-10-08

After working with several other project management / intranet solutions like trello, jira, asana & jira, Wrike was the first tool which made the onboarding for all departments very easy and fast and helped us to spend less time on understanding/teaching/integrating the tool because: - the UI ist straigth forward so we didn't have to explain a lot - the different views helped our employees to choose their favorite work layout - setting up groups, repeating tasks and custom fields was very easy We are using wrike for all elements of our business, HR, Marketing, Finance, Tech and even shopping/wish lists for lunch and events.

GREAT for smaller teams.

2018-09-06

I was pressured a lot to try going with Wrike instead but I must say I had no major issues just staying with Trello

Pros

Its great for smaller teams! The flow is very natural and easy to operate.

Cons

The more you try to use it for, the slower or choppier the whole process starts getting. Not very good if you're trying to run a bigger operation.

Trello - The (Almost) All In One Solution

2018-12-18

I miss paying for Trello, Wrike is too expensive.

Pros

Easy to use, streamlined user interface, building block style, tagging, powerups, and additions. Friednly API, and most improtantly - Gmail plugins!!!

Cons

We switched to Wrike for more of a project management timeline approach.

Best Project Management Tool

2019-02-01

I needed to organize clients and teams and it has worked extremely well!

Pros

I love the boards. The tools are so quick to learn and use and just automatically makes sense. If you need to learn and manage a tool for a team and haven't used other tools before, then this is the one.

Cons

If you need these, look to Wrike.

A simpler solution than Wrike

2019-02-12

Its easy to create tasks, share them, upload images and comments and complete them by moving to a different board!

Pros

One of our companies is leaving Wrike and now stuck with the dilema to find another project management software that is small, simple, and free (yet scalable) lead us to revisit our old pal Trello!

Cons

We haven't explored all it's funcitons but being able to add timestamps like wrike would be a nice feature.

Perfect for personal use or simple project collaboration!

2017-10-05

Pros

Trello is easy to learn and simple to use. I used it on a previous work team, and having all my project info within Trello made it easy to hand off my projects when I offboarded. All my relevant notes, documents, due dates, and checklists/next steps were perfectly organized within cards, making it simple for the team to know exactly where every project stood. I continue to use Trello as a personal task list manager, and it's perfect for this purpose. Better than a simple notes app, but not too complicated.

Cons

However, Trello integrates with many project management tools, so it might work to use Trello for everyday task management and have cards feed automatically into your projects within a project management tool like Wrike.

I'm a stark raving Trello fan. I use it to manage many aspects of both my work and personal life.

2018-01-19

Trello has helped me organize and manage processes and workflows that prior to were much more difficult to manage. From organizing my novel writing notes and character bios, to managing our web content calendar and online product catalog, Trello is flexible and versatile enough to help me get a handle on just about any project.

Pros

Trello has been a life changer for me, both professionally and personally. There seems to be no limit to what you can do with it. It's hard to describe exactly what Trello does; rather it is better to see what it enables you to do. On a high level, it's a Kanban project management and team collaboration app. But after you add in all the third-party integrations and plugins available, the options are endless. In effect, you can almost use it as a way to build mini-apps for solutioning different areas of your business or personal needs. This is where there are lots of sites that show you use cases of other users.

Cons

Hopefully with increased competition from other apps like Zenkit, Wrike and the like, it will push Trello to do more than just add support for more integrations.
