Overall: Easy HOA is an excellent tool for small HOAs looking for an affordable and efficient way to manage their community. It has saved us time, improved communication, and simplified our operations. I give it five stars and highly recommend Easy HOA software!
As a community of just 22 homes, our current management company terminated their relationship with us. We were unable to find a new management company willing to take on such a small community. Easy HOA saved us from turning our association ov Ease of Use: The software has a simple, intuitive interface that makes it easy for both board members and homeowners to navigate. Setting up accounts, managing payments, and sending announcements are all straightforward tasks that can be done with minimal training. Payment Processing: The built-in payment system has streamlined our dues collection process, with automated reminders and clear records for each homeowner. Communication Tools: The email and notification system keeps everyone in the loop, which is critical for board meetings and community updates. Document Storage: Storing and sharing documents like meeting minutes, budgets, and community guidelines is convenient, helping us stay organized and transparent with all residents. Customer Support: Whenever we've had questions or needed help with customization, the customer support team has been responsive and helpful, offering solutions quickly. The cost of the software is amazingly affordable compared to what we were paying in excessive management fees. We were able to lower our annual dues as a result.
There is nothing I can say that I like least about Easy HOA.

It's much more useful to the Treasurer than to the Project Manager. The communication functions are most important to me as the PM. Communication, project management and visibility are top of my list. Also, Global email from within EasyHOA.
The fact that someone finally developed a solution for HOA management!
This product desperately needs professional usability testing and resulting usability improvements. Things are NOT easy to find.

EasyHOA is the perfect solution for our small, self-managed association. As a treasurer I can track each homeowner's account status online, and use its simple accounting features to keep track of expenses. It even links to our bank account. Homeowners love the HOA website (which is included in the subscription), where we share documents, offer secure payment of HOA fees, and even conduct votes. I strongly recommend EasyHOA's customer support. Whenever I email a question I know I can expect an answer in less than a day.

My overall experience with Easy HOA has been positive. The software has made managing our HOA much more efficient by simplifying tasks like communication, financial tracking, and document management. While there are some areas for improvement, such as more flexibility in custom reporting, the platform has significantly reduced the time and effort needed for administrative work. Additionally, the customer service has been exceptional—any issues we’ve encountered have been promptly resolved by our responsive support representative. Overall, it’s a valuable tool that has enhanced our HOA’s operations.
What I liked most about Easy HOA is its user-friendly interface and the way it streamlines communication with residents. It has been a great tool for organizing and tracking community activities, and the reporting features are easy to use and very helpful for managing HOA finances and compliance issues. It has significantly reduced the time spent on administrative tasks, making our HOA operations more efficient overall.
What I liked least about Easy HOA is that some features, such as custom reporting or document organization, can feel a bit limited in terms of flexibility. Additionally, there have been occasional glitches with the notification system, where important messages weren't consistently delivered to all residents. However, any issues we've had have been addressed quickly—whenever we've reached out to our customer service rep, he has responded **immediately**, providing excellent support and ensuring things are resolved as quickly as possible.

Input of our data went smoothly. Customer support was great. We anticipate being able to communicate quickly and have necessitary data at our fingertips.
We are a small self managed HOA looking for an efficient way to keep track of our various functions. Easy HOA was fairly priced, had no contract, and covered most of our needs. Customer support is excellent.
We are just getting started and have not used all features offered. At this point we don’t lave a least liked feature.

We have not yet finalized our service with them, but it has been great working with their team.
The team at Easy HOA is professional and knowledgeable. They are very patient in helping us set up their service for us.
Our rural situation with land (lots) and many owners owning more than one lot does not easily insert into their template for a neighborhood with houses or a condo unit set-up.

We are having a very positive experience using the product, as we move towards a self-managed community. We look forward to a tremendous saving in efficient communications with members as more of them sign up to use the system.
Liked the easy of use in adopting it to the business practices used by our HOA. Required very little help for members to start using the product in a productive manner. The price point for the features offered was the best we found in our research. The integrated website made it easy for us to setup a home page for member access and administrative access.
It took about 10 days to initiate the first ACH transition, and so we were worried the funds transferred was in limbo for too long a period. Need to speed up the initial transaction setup with banks.

We are looking into your feedback regarding ACH transactions and the time it takes for funds to be transferred. Often times we are subject to specific banks rules or policies so that could have been the situation in your case but we are looking into it. Thanks again!

Their support is great and very very easy to get a hold of. They have amazing support across the whole company.
Due to the majority of our HOA living in a separate residence, it had previously been hard to notify owners of scheduled maintenance and also to bill for yearly dues at a separate location. Utilizing EasyHOA we now have recurring auto-payments in place as well as easy communication via template emails and texts to our 200+ owners.
It is not really a con but we are still trying to decide if we are better off using a 3rd party accounting option or having that part of EasyHOA software.

Very easy to implement, intuitive functionality for board and residents. We get confused processing and reviewing email strings and trying to reply to a portion of a string. Focus on email management and we will be delighted - and if we could pay vendors directly from Easy HOA we could further consolidate to one tool.

Again, I cannot express how easy it was to set up, use, and sign up both administratively and for the members. The service is second to none. The prices are reasonable compared to what is out there, the email and phone/ text features are great and already saved us money. If I had to pick one, I would pick the customer service/ kindness and helpfulness, but the systems ease of use is right there with the service too.
First the SERVICE! Service is white glove, first class, very responsive, and quick to help, again, they make it EASY. Gave recorded personalized videos to help me with questions. They are 5++ star. Love the member directory, email, text, phone number, and the payment features (with auto pay capability) and allows for flexibility to have members pay ccard fees or the HOA. We could cancel our cell phone service with their phone and text feature$!
Nothing yet. It is 5++ star, white glove service, everything we need and then some, good pricing compared to what is out there and this group really CARES. It is very hard to find that now a days in any human or business.

Excellent. I went out on a limb making this decision and I have since received a lot of positive feedback.
Great value, ease of implementation, and exceptional customer support.
Nothing. There are a few features e.g. voting and meeting management that we understand are in the works for future releases. For now we have what we need although we will probably grow our needs as those new features get rolled out. I did not spent too much time delving into security and data privacy so have trusted this topic somewhat blindly. I hope that Easy HOA will constantly work in this area to insure our user communities data is well protected.

My overall experience has been exceptional, the EasyHOA guys are easy to talk to, attentive and responsive and the getting up and running process was basically painless. I am the HOA Treasurer and took over a year ago; I found that we struggled with retaining good and consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. We struggled with follow-up but having everything on one place is solving those issues; I believe that in the long run our Board Members will be more involved and less stressed in doing the things the Board needs to do. I also believe that our Homeowners will be more involved with their community and board because of the transparency we are achieving through EasyHOA.
We love that everything is in one place-financial, violations & requests. Once an invoice, violation or request is posted, it remains there--no more loosing paper. Being a self-managed volunteer HOA Board, everyone has their own busy life so we always have a problem with follow-up, EasyHOA is helping us because we can easily see what is due or what violation has been sent and needs follow-up. I love their customer service, they are very attentive and quick to respond. I also liked that we had one team member to help us with the set-up; not the call in and speak to the next available agent who didn't know us from Adam. Professionally I was a CFO and went through many software implementations in my career of which every one was a nightmare and required many individuals to implement; we had 2 people to get EasyHOA up and running and it was so easy and quick and to get people trained to use it. They are very good at trying to implement additional functions based on issues, questions or suggestions we have made.
It would be nice to have the "Reports" section improved to allow more reports or the creation of our own reports and to be able to modify what is included in an existing report. It would be nice to have some feature to know or be reminded that a primary homeowners doesn't have email or telephone so we need to print & mail. I understand they are working on a feature to have roles within the Board members to limit what can be changed and by whom.

As a small HOA, we needed a user-friendly, affordable platform in 2021. HOA Start has exceeded our expectations by providing a tool that even a non-designer can easily navigate. For instance, setting up our community directory was straightforward and took only about an hour. After evaluating several options, we chose HOA Start and are thrilled with our decision. Two years later, we've seen a remarkable increase in website engagement, with 75% of our homeowners actively using the platform. HOA Start has done a fantastic job developing a product that anticipates our needs, eliminating the need for website design expertise. We didn't require advanced features; we simply needed a functional platform for our members to access information and for outsiders to find contact details. The onboarding process was exceptional, with live support guiding us through every step. The admin platform is intuitive and easy to use and their helpful support team responds promptly to inquiries. HOA Start is continually improving their platform, and while we don't utilize all their advanced features, it's reassuring to have access to them as our HOA grows. Amazing - the Sales representatives, the Developers, the Billing department - all are friendly, helpful and super responsive.
HOA Start had the most incredible customer service. I volunteered to take over the website for my HOA and they helped make it easy. From a domain name transfer to customizing my website to my unique needs - HOA Start has been there for me.
I would still like to see the Rental Page easier to change and update

As our HOA administrator, I was really surprised how easy it was to get our website configured and 'live' so quickly. I was able to use our existing domain name which was a plus too. Feedback from our homeowners has been overwhelmingly positive where they love the modern look/feel, graphics, ease of use, access to our HOA documents, Contact Us page and how great the website looks on their mobile devices. Your product is great and Customer Support ([SENSITIVE CONTENT]) is amazing as mentioned before.
The ability to quickly and easily configure our HOA website is where this product shines. Our HOA is on the Starter package, yet this is feature rich with the ability to manage our members, post and expose HOA documents, ACH payments, calendars and the flexibility to create additional webpages as needed. The modern user experience provides our HOA a fresh new look. The fast response from our Onboarding Support Specialist, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], is amazing! He was able to provide some great technical work-arounds for me to create some very nice web pages. I looked closely at the other competition before choosing HOA Start in terms of functionality for the price for our HOA since we are a smaller community. It was a no brainer that HOA Start was the clear Leader in terms of their Web Designs with the features, ease of use and support!
Because HOA Start is so feature-rich and everything is configurable, there is alot of functionality in this product. I am an IT professional where I needed to reach out to the Support team for clarification on a couple items, like the Households feature for example. Two things that can be improved: 1) making HOA Start mobile enabled (not just viewing website on mobile device), 2) email blast as part of the Starter package.
You really may not know how rewarding a review like this is, but we want to assure you that we're thankful and proud to receive it. Overall, we are very satisfied with our first year's experience with HOA Start. They make a great additon to our team.
HOA Start provides web hosting and website building tools to create a unique landing place where homeowners can communicate with the board and with others, request Architectural Committee review of exterior home improvements, view important HOA documents and learn about the Arlington community and the town's amenities. Support from HOA Start during setup as well as with ongoing questions is quick, straight forward and always helpful. The company continues to add new features to enable our board to do it job better.
The tagging system allowing database segmentation to enable commmunication with portions of our HOA's population is cumbersome. Streamlining this feature to enable a quick way to communicate wwith residents on a single street, for example, would be helpful.

I really appreciate her support through the process of setting up our site on HOA Start. I also like that the HOA Start site hosting allows us to have so many features on our website. It's like everything is all in one place. That is exactly what we were looking for in the creation of our HOA site.
Some of the features on the site set up have been a little confusing, and the site navigation sometimes felt a little unnecessarily complicated. Luckily, [sensitive content hidden] helped us through the process.

I liked that HOA Start was very proactive in trying to help get you started and feel comfortable. As a new HOA, we didn't have any books to try to transfer over, but also didn't have any registry of households, addresses, or members. So, there was a bit of start-up work to be done on our end, but having importable spreadsheets made things easy.
While we were hoping for a little less in cost, I do believe that it is worth the money if you want to remain self-managed.

Benefits are huge - HOA start will allow us to eliminate many other platforms and have everything managed in one place
Working with HOA support made the transfer so smooth. The features are easy to understand and use. This platform is going to really allow us to communicate and build community for our members
There are some features I would like to see added: Being able to say why a date is blocked out for an amenity. Having the ability to click a box to add an Amenity Reservation to the community calendar. Being able to set up the Events Registration on the 3rd Monday of the month or every Monday with an end date. Being able to take ACH payments without a fee. A less expensive Newsletter option

Love working with HOA Start and maintaining content as we go. I consider myself an 'expert' with creating new pages and managing our website making this more fun and spark the interest of our homeowners
Super intuitive to quickly setup and configure any HOA website. You don’t need a webmaster to manage/maintain your site, your HOA volunteers can manage this. We are in a smaller community of 80 homes, but we wanted advanced features like: Member database, Secured Member Portal, Member Directory, Ability for Online Payments, Events & Calendars, Email Blasts, Document Repository, Robust Admin Functionality, OOTB & Custom Forms and pricing packages that would fit our needs. As our HOA Communications Committee Chair, I spent a lot of time researching other company HOA sites to the find the best overall solution that is intuitive, user friendly, easy to setup and maintain going forward. HOA Start provided a free trial where I had most of our website configured where this was transferred over to Production once we went live. During the trial process and eventually once we signed on to HOA Start, I was super impressed that we had a dedicated onboard/support specialist to assist along the way. This experience alone sold it for me; also, no other HOA software provider has the features/functionalities, ease of use application and phenomenal support that I have found. Support inquiries were immediately addressed where they provided personal ‘how-to’ videos to help facilitate my requests. We’ve received super positive feedback from our homeowners for the look and intuitiveness of our newly branded website. The other great bonus is providing the ability for our homeowners to make online payments (ACH or Credit Card) via the Stripe integration with very small ACH service fees. Just in our new launch alone, 25% of our homeowners made online payments and with all payments received before the HOA fees due date, which is first! The Professional plan has all of the functionality our HOA needs as this plan is feature rich with the many different features available to tailor to our community. Lastly, HOA Start has a great training reference library that contains videos and documents with great detail how to setup/configure both simple and complex configurations.
The admin reporting features can be more robust by offering the ability to create custom reports via a fields selection configuration. Having said this though, our treasurer and secretary find the report feature to meet their expectations. This isn’t a “Con”, per se, but note it does take time to setup a site (content), even for software that is easy to use and configure as HOA Start. Having your content ready to cut/paste or photo’s to upload will reduce this time significantly. Since we started from scratch, this was the largest effort to create/gather the content and have reviewed with the Board.

At this time, I do not have any cons for HOA Start. I haven't used it that much yet and so far everything has been great.

This small but mighty starter package was perfect for our small (96 unit) HOA. We transitioned to self management and our Finance Committee chair took this on as her personal project working with our fantastic customer service rep, [sensitive content hidden], to get us up and running. They are open to hearing suggestions as to how to improve their service and have made us feel part of the team. Hands down, the best customer service experience ever! Worth the money. All tutorials on YouTube and [sensitive content hidden] has been Uber patient with our start up questions, needs. Don’t care for the Stripe part of it, but our own fault since we didn’t link with Quickbooks. Learn from our mistakes there. Would love to see more robust reporting or some additional data options, but again, they are totally open to hearing that and forwarding it to the developers.
Customer service is the bomb! Particularly, [sensitive content hidden]. So patient, so helpful, a true advocate for our HOA with the developers. The best.
Lack of robust reporting. Could develop better drop down options and more inclusive data on their reporting. But open to hearing suggestions.

Excellent. The site was easy to set up and easy to maintain.
Ease of use. Support staff are great and very prompt to answer any questions. The price is right and it meets our HOA needs very well.
They could do a better job of updating users on enhancements and enhancement requests.

On our old website, we could not have a private section for members only. Every screen in HOA Start has this option, which is huge.
I really liked the step by step process that they implemented for on-boarding. The support behind the implementation was huge ([sensitive content hidden]) and very reactive to my "stupid" questions. Lots of documentation and videos to prepare for the next step in implementation.
As we sent "live" we discovered a software glitch that create some stress during the registration. Thankfully, [sensitive content hidden] stayed late that day to help resolved the issue.
Thank you so kindly for taking the time to give us this great and honest feedback. It's crucial in helping us know the course of our product, process and team. Customer service, tech support...quite frankly has been OUTSTANDING! From the very start everyone on the HOA Start team has been cheerfully responsive and helpful.
The platform is relatively easy to navigate for most of our residents. Chock-full simple to access information. Especially helpful and easy to view is our community calendar, our birthdays calendar and our events calendar!
Admins need to be quite tech savvy but that's ok. In our case, we are a 55+ retirement community so there are relatively few residents who are tech savvy. We're lucky to have a few new residents who can manage the software!

As the new chair of my HOA Communications Committee, it was my job to help bring our 55+ community's website into the 21st Century. After an exhaustive search, I found HOA Start and couldn't be happier. The site is beautiful, intuitive, interactive, budget friendly and so easy to build and navigate. We were assigned our very own Support Rep and [sensitive content hidden] has been amazing - so helpful and supportive. Our community is very proud of our new website and we are getting engagement from residents who swore they would never use a website. We can keep members only content private, while still being able to let prospective residents know how great our community is! Communicating with our residents has never been easier. I wish I could give HOA more than 5 stars!
Some of the add ons are a bit pricey for us but the included functions are superb!
We couldn't be more thankful for honest feedback like this. We value every review we get, because it's in that moment we're able to see how the Customer Journey played out. In this case, seems it was a great ride, and that's what we strive for with every project. Incredibly responsive and helpful - they even responded on weekends and evenings when we were rushing to prep the site for launch for our annual HOA neighborhood meeting!
We needed to bring our small, old-school backwoods neighborhood into the 21st century, but we didn't know where to begin. As a volunteer Board, we didn't have the time or money to invest in building and managing a website from scratch, but HOAStart had the design and tools we needed already set up, so we could just plug in and go. We now have a one-stop shop to share minutes, meeting documents, events, calendars and pay dues - and more and more residents are seeing the benefits and convenience as we approach our 1-year anniversary!
We're still learning the accounting system and working out the tweaks as to how to bill individuals vs. households - but already we've seen an uptick in homeowners paying online which was our goal - we were spending SO much time processing checks. We know our treasurer and residents will get more and more used to the easy online payment options and save everyone a lot of time!
We can’t thank you enough for sharing your experience for others too see. Our team is committed to delivering every time, and we’re always learning to get better. Again, we appreciate the feedback, and very much look forward to the relationship!
