Pros

The marketing module has already made up for the price difference and I’ve only sent out ONE marketing campaign text so far. This will most definitely boost my productivity, profitability and income for my business and family.

Cons

Doesn’t work very well on a phone which I use quite often because we’re a mobile mechanic service but that’s an easy fix with a tablet.

Fantastic product to help manage small to mid sized shops

AutoLeap has demonstrated its flexibility and willingness to adapt it's product to my needs to most effectively run my business.

Pros

I am especially pleased with the ease of use for both the office staff and the automotive techs. The software allows us to eliminate all the paper notes and labor tracking that was cumbersome, time consuming and not as accurate as I needed. AutoLeap provides a great way to manage all phases of customer care starting with original intake and scheduling, through cost estimation, assignment of tasks, invoicing and archiving. It is also allowing me to more accurately track the work of all technicians and assess the efficiency of each technician. In addition, AutoLeap allows me to get a snapshot view of the profitability of each invoice.

Cons

At this point I don't have any major complaints. If I had to write one thing is that the software is new and they are still adding features. But, that is also a plus because the product development team takes into consideration customer feedback and makes rapid modifications to accommodate the needs of the shop.

Time saving shop management software!!

Pros

Creating estimates with Autoleap is going to save me so much time compared to the other software I have been using for the past 2 years. I am a small business owner with just 2 people in the shop, so time savings is critical. It is easy to use. The Quickbooks integrations is also going to save me time after hours. No more manually typing RO's on a 2nd time after hours. Being able to send customer DVI's is also another great way to help communicate with customer's and show them what I am seeing with their vehicles. I did a lot of shopping around and decided to go with Autoleap because of the number of features and the price was excellent. The value is phenomenal. Any shops out there looking for a great shop management software, I recommend you try Autoleap!

Cons

I have no complaints about Autoleap. The software is great, and the support staff have been extremely helpful getting me trained and ready to use this in my shop.

AutoLeap keeps us organized

AutoLeap customer service was extremely easy to deal with. They went over the pricing and everything with me and easily signed me up and set everything up. Our implementation consultant [sensitive content hidden] was fantastic and answered any questions we might have had immediately as well as checked in with us weekly to see how we're doing with the system. There is a training class you go through which was super helpful and I was using AutoLeap to its fullest within the first week.

Pros

Love how AutoLeap has everything we need featured within the system. It is extremely easy to put together an estimate and send it to the customer. One of my favorite features is the e signature. We have reduced our paper usage with this feature and its fantastic because it keeps all the signed documents organized within the order for easy access. It makes the car drop off/pick up process very smooth as everything is signed and ready to go already. It is also very easy to input the vehicle info with just a VIN or plate which is so convenient as I don't need to manually enter a vehicle.

Cons

I believe AutoLeap still has a lot of features they can add or improve, but they are on their way to doing so. While the estimate/invoice process is easy, it is a bit hard to see the final total as you have to scroll down for it instead of it floating on the side for you to see. Small things like that that can easily be improved though and I believe they will update all that in the future.

I went into Autoleap very skeptical because they didn't offer a free or reduced cost demo, which every other shop management platform offers. The fact that they're a relatively new company (about 3 years old as of 2023) didn't ease my doubts. I decided to sign up for an hour long demo in which a sales rep took me through the main features of Autoleap; we created sample estimates and work orders, which...

Pros

Autoleap offers what most other platforms have, but the streamlined user interface outshines the competition by far. Everything you need is always one or two clicks away, and you don't need to be searching the sidebar or small corner of the website to find exactly what you need. Customers seemed to really enjoy the simplicity of approving estimates and receiving a full breakdown of work to be done,...

Cons

There is very little in the way of customizing invoices or estimates. I was told that's still in the works, so not really a big issue for now.There is no trial period where you get to test drive the platform before you decide to try it. It's basically a full cost demo, which at $480/mo, isn't a cheap gamble. I was given a few reasons as to why they don't allow for a trial, but nothing really stood out as convincing.

From Mitchell to Autoleap

It's not bad for the price. Overall, if this was my first software experience as a service advisor, I think I would fall short of learning correctly. When comparing the wiring diagrams on AutoLeap compared to ProDemand, there is no question that autoleap has a lot of fine tuning to do.

Pros

Sending estimate and invoices electronically. Approval process is easy. Chat box is easy.

Cons

No wiring diagrams like ProDemand. Incorrect part sourcing Lack of labor guide items Archiving an estimate shows in recent reports as "unpaid" which causes us to never archive any estimates. This created clutter The tiles are so big. Why not just have the vehicles and client names listed. It makes it difficult to find a vehicle unless we memorize the clients name.

If you're thinking about it, JUST GET IT!

I opened my buisness from the start with autoleap, I have used various other types of shop management tools at previous jobs, and this is by far the best. Even compared to the "legacy" systems like lankar, Mitchell, and all data. Integration, setup and use is seamless and easy, and the the staff has been very helpful, my implementation specialists [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been there at the click of a text, or email whenever we needed her to help out no matter how big or small the issue.

Pros

There are too many features to list to be able to say which I like the most, but it would likely be the integration with motor to be able to get labour times, repair information, vin decoding, and so easily create estimates for customers. Been using the software very heavily for the last 2 weeks in a low bandwidth internet area, and not once has it stalled, waited to buffer, or crashed.

Cons

The only "cons" I can think of is being unable to delete customers or vehicles if incorrectly entered, but you are able to check them as "inactive" which essentially works the same. So it's not a problem, just an irritation

Waited too long to make a change. No need to research any further.

Very pleased with the whole experience. Trying something new after so many years is scary but it's worth taking the LEAP! I demoed many programs and no one had it all. Autoleap was the closest for me. Do the demo and you will see.

Pros

Onboarding was very easy, extremely helpful staff to get us up and running. Love the parts lookup and ordering, saves time. Web based so I can access anytime. Reports and KPI easy to understand. Easy to watch margins live on each Ro as you write estimates. Technicians like access on their cell phones so you can go paperless. Text to pay works well and customers love it.

Cons

Learning curve was fairly steep. You learn and figure it out by doing. Patience is key. I ran it side by side with my old software to make sure everything was correct. Motor labor times can be low at times so I compare to mitchell and make corrections as needed.

Auto leap is amazing to use for daily auto mechanic

My overall experience with them is amazing now and they been helping me to get my shop running at its best and bringing in new customers.

Pros

Easy and quick to do a estimate and invoice Vin look up is quick There support team is amazing when you get stuck on there program. The support team even helps at 10 pm which I was shock

Cons

The cons will be the pricing but you get everything with autoleap when I like because I am a one man shop

Great auto shop software

Pros

You can tell from the start that auto leap genuinely cares about you. A novelty not always found these days. [sensitive content hidden] has been just absolutely fantastic helping myself and our team wrapping our heads around this software and it’s just been a great overall experience. We had a customer data base of 42,000 and we were able to transfer all relative customers over to the new system. I found the price to be affordable and the features are very cool . It does feel good to offer 2023 features to clients and overall have received fantastic feedback from our customers about the software.

Cons

Like anything new it does take some time getting used to. There are some minor things I would like to see tweaked in the future & I’m sure they will be. There’s no “perfect” software. This company has been great to work with and everyone I’ve dealt with has been fantastic

Overall, we are so happy with AutoLeap. The software offers so much value for the cost and we are impressed with how easy it makes the bookkeeping for Auto Repair shops.

Pros

I do the bookkeeping for a few auto repair shops. They use Auto Leap and it is amazing. It offers so many features for management on the shop side and it integrates so seamlessly with Quickbooks Online.

Cons

I have had no issues with the software.

Amazing software with great customer care

I am able to run my business much more smoothly and efficiently with AutoLeap. It keeps me on task and on target. I know the support team is always there for me and always improving and making the software better than it was before.

Pros

The software integrated very easily with other programs and the interface was very clean and easy to use. Most importantly is that the support team is eager to help and always looking to improve the product if I have suggestions on things I would like to see added or changed.

Cons

Overall any features that are lacking are usually being worked on by the design team and rolled out quickly. I would say that the biggest Con to me is that it is quite a bit more expensive than what I was using previously however that program didn't even come close to how powerful this software is or how user friendly it is.

AutoLeap leaps ahead!

From the setup up to the inhouse training AutoLeap was able to help me.

Pros

The Customer Service, The Software it's all top knotch. They have taken shop management to the next level.

Cons

The price is pretty high for any program, but if you can overcome that fee you'll see a return on your investment. I'm glad I didnt let the entry price deter me from getting on board.

Next Level Shop Managment

AutoLeap has instantly increased our revenue streams. Consumers really appreciate the transparency of communication and breakdown of invoicing AutoLeap provides to them seamlessly throughout the repair. The archaic methods of phone approvals for repair estimates are extinct in my shop thanks to AutoLeap.

Pros

AutoLeap has a smooth and intuitive UI that really makes training and implementation very simple. The feature laden platform is constantly being updated and you will be blown away by how fast the AutoLeap team works with you to develop new features that you may request.

Cons

I'm not a huge fan of Motor being the default internal repair guide. My techs didn't like it at all but we were able to purchase Mitchell and link it, though unfortunately at an extra cost.

I like how its a cloud-based platform and can be accessed remotely.

Cons

Its quite a bit differnent than the previous POS system we have been using. I wish it were easier to set up flat rate jobs, and to have specific price matrixes based on brands of parts/tires and different suppliers.
