Before using CaptivateIQ, it was a guessing game for when I was going to receive my hard-earned commissions or how much they were going to be. Now, it is extremely easy to have this information at my fingertips!

I log in and see what my commissions are, does exactly what it needs to do, and nothing more.

Cons

More Visibility into my commission paycheck

Pros

I like how the software calculates my commission paycheck without the need of updating a custom spreadsheet manually. I also enjoy the dashboard that breakdown my commission variables and commission rate as well as qualified opportunities/CW.

Cons

I dislike is how long it took to get fully implemented. However, this may have been due to some challenges internally, so I can't entirely blame Captivate. The UI/ UX could be a bit friendlier. I find it a bit boring and cumbersome.

A new bar for sales commission.

Pros

Up to date information. With most sales ops orgs the commission is a dreaded monthly process and by the time the end user gets their commission statement, it’s time to get paid leaving no time for end users to dispute errorsZ

Cons

Can be confusing. Dashboard icons is confusing so you end up clicking every button till you get to the right screen. Information presented is intuitive but not the navigation.

Make Commissions Easy!!!

From a sales rep's perspective, I love this tool. It's easy to use and easy to resolve concerns on statements. It's helped me save time looking at my commission statements and I feel everything is more accurate.

Pros

Easy to use platform that helps me understand my commission statement. I can quickly check each statement, ensure accuracy and that nothing is missing. My company also has a complicated commission plan, and Captivate IQ helps me understand the commission breakdown.

Cons

It's hard for me to have dislikes or identify areas of improvement. Before Captivate IQ, we did everything with excel spreadsheets. Each month, I'd get a statement, and if there were disputes or inquiries, I'd have to have separate email conversations to get clarification. I can do everything directly from Captivate IQ. Everything is easier to understand, easy to use, and inquiries get resolved much faster. As a sales rep, only managing my own deals, I can only imagine how much better this has made it for the comp plan management team.

Best Way to Easily track Commission

It's been great. Easy to onboard, intuitive software. I no longer have to wait to receive an excel sheet at the end of every month with my commissions calculated, now I can see everything in real time.

Pros

We use captivateIQ primarily for commission review. It was incredibly easy to set up and start using from the start. I like how it clearly shows me how much commission I've earned and allows me to see where that commission is coming from. It's always up to date and accurate and gives me confidence that my company is calculating my commission accurately.

Cons

Nothing yet- I think my organization could probably utilize more if its features.

Single pane of view, ease of use, ability to see all commissions and where they were sourced from, the integration with Salesforce, and the commission plan breakdown and how they're being paid out.

Cons

User login information is not intuitively stored at the login screen. There are some extra steps needed in order to utilize SSO and that can be often difficult especially when you are managing multiple SaaS services.
