What is Propty?

Propty is a comprehensive homeowners association management platform designed for California community associations and self-managed homeowners associations. It centralizes maintenance requests, communications, amenity bookings, document storage and annual meeting administration within a unified dashboard. The platform addresses state regulatory requirements of the Davis-Stirling Act and AB two thousand one hundred fifty-nine electronic voting provisions. The system is utilized by sixty six thousand residents across more than five hundred communities.

The maintenance request management system consolidates all building related requests into a single inbox with complete request history, status tracking and team assignment capabilities. The communications module enables distribution of notices and announcements through multiple channels including SMS, email and in-application notifications with delivery confirmation tracking and targeted recipient selection. The amenity booking functionality allows reservation of shared spaces such as gyms, pools and party rooms while automatically preventing scheduling conflicts and enabling administrators to establish usage rules. The document management system provides centralized storage for critical association documents including budgets, bylaws, meeting minutes and contracts.

The annual meeting and voting module supports AB two thousand one hundred fifty-nine compliant electronic voting with secure, anonymous ballot casting and comprehensive audit trails. Real-time quorum tracking is calculated based on ownership shares to verify meeting validity instantly. The voting system is designed to be tamper-proof with automatic result calculation and live result display. Survey tools collect feedback from residents and board members through customizable questionnaires to inform decision making.

The platform supports team collaboration by allowing multiple staff members and property managers to access the system concurrently with differentiated permission levels. Data migration services are provided by an in-house team to facilitate transition from existing systems. Customer support is available through phone, email, chat and video conferencing with unlimited support included in the service offering, and each account is assigned a dedicated manager with training and onboarding sessions. A help center provides articles, screenshots and instructional videos, and all data is hosted within the United States to comply with state data residency requirements.
