What is Boro?

Elecard is a comprehensive suite of professional software products designed for video compression, analysis, monitoring, encoding, decoding and streaming of digital video and audio data for IPTV, over the top and digital video broadcasting applications. The platform serves broadcasters, IPTV operators, over the top providers, system architects, system on chip designers, quality assurance teams and organizations in sport, medical, digital signage and surveillance industries. Elecard established itself as a market leader in MPEG dash two codec technology and evolved into a complete video technology provider catering to the entire video workflow from encoding and transcoding to quality control and real time monitoring.

The suite encompasses specialized modules for distinct video workflow requirements. The transcoding platforms include CodecWorks and CodecWorks Gateway for live encoding of MPEG dash two, H dot two six four slash AVC and HEVC streams and for DASH and HLS packaging in production environments. Converter Studio VoD addresses conversion tasks for video on demand applications. The quality control suite includes Elecard Live for real time monitoring, Elecard Boro for live stream quality monitoring with quality of service and quality of experience probing capabilities and Elecard Boro VoD for automated quality control of media files and large media libraries.

Monitoring tools include Multistream Player for simultaneous stream viewing. Video analysis capabilities are provided by StreamEye Studio with support for VVC, HEVC, AV one, VP nine, MPEG dash two and H dot two six four slash AVC codecs and modules such as StreamEye, StreamEye Basic, Stream Analyzer, Video Quality Estimator, YUV Viewer, Quality Gates and Misha Codec Benchmark for comprehensive bitstream analysis and quality assessment. The digital signage solution ViCont delivers content management and display control. Playback functions are supplied through MPEG Player, MPEG dash two PlugIn, AVC PlugIn and AVC PlugIn for ProgDVB.

Elecard maintains active participation in industry standards organizations including membership in the DASH Industry Forum for collaboration on DASH specifications and involvement in the AVS Workgroup with StreamEye Studio supporting AVS three codec analysis. The platform offers software development kits for application developers requiring video compression components and custom development services for bespoke software and hardware solutions. Technical support is available through structured support programs and ticketing systems. The company provides extensive resources including knowledge bases, frequently asked questions, glossaries, webinars, white papers and documentation to support implementation and optimization of video workflows across broadcast and streaming environments.
