Enterprise is a transport management system (TMS) that provides operators with the tools they need to improve haulage operations by cutting down on time-consuming repetitive processes through simplification and automation. When using a Mandata TMS users see less duplication, improved productivity (due to greatly reducing the time it takes for processes such as proof of delivery and invoicing), and ultimately gain a real-time view of key performance data across the business.
On top of this, it provides various integrated software and apps to help with processes such as warehouse management, electronic proof of delivery, vehicle checks, cross-docking, and more. Mandata’s software integrates effectively with third-party systems, which include major accounting software, as well as pallet network, warehousing, and customer enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Key features include:
Job Creation:
- Job imports from various popular formats such as CSV or fixed-length text files (some solutions even automate these imports using APIs and EDIs)
- Create repeat jobs for the same customer with just a few clicks to plan for jobs weeks or even months ahead.
- Customers can add jobs via the customer portal.
Planning:
- View all unassigned jobs at a glance and drag and drop them to an available driver, drastically cutting down on the time it takes to assign jobs to your drivers daily.
- A map planning screen gives a visual aid of collection and delivery locations, enabling managers to assign jobs to the most appropriate driver.
- Clear visibility of driver loads, meaning you know how much space is left in each vehicle and what is the capacity for additional jobs.
- Additional information such as profit and loss is available as teams plan.
Tracking:
- Teams can view driver locations and behavior in real time empowering them to make quick decisions if an issue arises.
- Driver behavior can also be reported on and sent to drivers to show areas for improvement.
- Geofencing functionality allows managers to set up areas of interest, both large and small, on a map that will trigger automated alerts when the driver arrives or leaves the location. They can also be used to generate more accurate ETAs.
Electronic proof of delivery and invoicing
- Drivers no longer need to worry about losing documents, or delivering them back to the business late, as they’re all uploaded instantly.
- View key details and instructions around a job and upload important documents and photographs as well as signatures (through sign-on-glass functionality).
- All job status changes are fed back into the TMS and customer portal, keeping you and your customers informed.
