Acumen is a complete employee time and attendance platform built for companies across a variety of industries that have more than 50 employees.

Acumen offers flexible time entry methods that make it easy for employees to clock in/out from anywhere. Supervisors are able to approve timesheets and PTO requests and keep track of employees' attendance through a simple, efficient user interface.

Acumen’s dashboards serve various roles within the organization including administrators, supervisors, employees, and everyone in between. They provide supervisors with real-time insight into the workforce with red, yellow, and green icons that show who is out-of-office, on-break or clocked-in, and supports email, SMS, time clock and web clock employee messaging. Users can view an employee’s timecard by double-clicking their name, and utilize the search function, filters and sort options to pull up a user’s data.

Administrators are able to configure the employee interface by setting access controls for each user, and organizing by position, employee, group or department. Fields and labels can be customized to match the terminology used within the organization. Email alerts are sent to administrators, supervisors, and/or employees when certain events occur, such as late or missing punches, extra breaks, early punch out, time off requests, and more.

Users can choose to have supervisors approve time before running payroll by setting up their system to monitor only their appointed employees. Certifications features allow users to denote employees with special capabilities or privileges, and incorporate rules for their scheduling. The point / demerit system rewards or punishes employees based on attendance, accomplishments, behavioral traits, and other criteria.

Acumen’s time clocks support authentication through PIN entry access, ID badge card swipe, and biometric fingerprint scanning or facial recognition. Web-based time clocks can be configured with GPS-based rules enforcement to ensure accurate time recording.
