What is Lettr?
Lettr is a transactional email platform that helps teams send and manage product and lifecycle emails without running their own email infrastructure. It supports both HTTP API and SMTP relay, so developers can integrate quickly and choose the delivery method that best fits their stack.
Lettr includes real-time webhooks and reporting across the email lifecycle, including accepted, delivered, delayed, bounced, opened, and clicked events. Teams can inspect message-level activity and use retained logs to troubleshoot delivery issues, bounces, or performance changes.
Templates are managed in a visual editor designed for collaboration. Developers set up the integration once, then product, design, and marketing teams can update transactional templates with version history and a draft/publish workflow—reducing dev tickets and avoiding redeploys for routine content changes. Lettr supports dynamic placeholders, multi-language templates, and HTML import for migrations.
For deliverability and brand control, Lettr supports custom domains for tracking links and hosted assets, plus standard sending domain configuration. Enterprise options include dedicated IP pools and custom rate limits.
