couldn't be happier with Pixpa. I tried almost every other platform there is but finally went with Pixpa. They are straightforward with their pricing and honestly, it's the best value you can find out there! I went with their all in one package which is an extremely good value for money.
Everything about starting and deploying your website is super easy. The eCommerce section and where you sell your photos for print does get a little confusing though. However, once you figure it out, it's super straightforward
I feel like some of the features have some overlaps with each other. Not that it's a bad thing, but it does take some time to figure out which one you should use. However, their customer service always helps super fast!

I am using the service for the last five years and my experience is totally positive. I built and maintain very easily my own website and I really like the overall design and the aushthetics of the templates. For the last year i am also the author of two blogs that I am able to run directly from Pixpa.
Templates design, photo galleries design, simplicity of use, server up time, integrated blogging
I don't think that they are cons, they are just some useful updates need to be done. Just add VSCO and VERO in social icons. Add central management of the photos in one place so the user can have total control of the files.

Its helped me to brand the business better
I love the way my website looks. I love the client gallery, ecommerce store, and website builder in one place.
There are a few things i think could really make this site awesome. Allowing users to accept crypto currency in the e-commerce store would be great. In addition please allow us to reorder items in the store manually. Once you save an item it completely throws off the entire order. I love selling art prints but the 3rd party whcc store that allows customers to order prints could use some work. Creating a community of pixpa website experts that can help a person design their pages. The app portion in which you can give to clients needs a lot of work. I would love to see a more powerful form builder that allows me to do more, it feels super limited [SENSITIVE CONTENT]

Pixpa is basically allowing me to spend less time on my site, fiddling with things meant for CODERS to work with, not people like me. The price is excellent, it functions well, it loads quickly, and I am overall very pleased! I think with some tweaking of the ecommerce side of things, it would even take it to the next level. I'm happy that this site was made with artist's needs in mind.
First of all...the reason I switched from Shopify to Pixpa was mainly due to price( Pixpa price is perfect, I feel, while Shopify will eat you alive with apps), but then I realized there was way more to love about Pixpa than I initially thought. I really love how easy this is to use, for something who has no coding experience. I was able to make a great website within a week, list my products, and...
So far I think the only thing I can think of is that when I compare it to Shopify, the checkout process probably could use some tweaking. The other thing is that when people checkout, the confirmation email often either goes to spam, or gives my gmail users a red alert for having "dangerous" content. One other thing that I noticed was that sometimes as I was editing a page, that website builder would crash occasionally, but it wasn't such a big deal to me, considering all the other positives.

I started my photography business 6 months ago and all of my deliveries of digital images have been done using my Pixpa-hosted website. Clients have had a seamless experience and love their beautiful image galleries. I have also been able to display my portfolio pages and have clients reach me through my website.
Low monthly fee & EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Clean and intuitive website management features. Beautiful Client galleries that can be password protected, allow for comments and favourite-ing of images, the ability to sell digital prints directly from the website. Beautiful and ready-to-go templates for website build.
While there are numerous website build templates, additional templates are needed (Pixpa has indicated that they are working on developing more. Using the templates straight up is easy, however, if you wish to customise the templates significantly, it can become a bit challenging to adjust the various features since this is not a drag-and-drop build. However, there are very DETAILED tutorial walkthroughs available in the help section of the management area. In addition, Pixpa has EXCELLENT customer service. I have been able to get feedback real-time using the help chat feature, and have also gotten detailed followup via email within 24 hours.

This site gets our studio out there. It allows us to look professional. I have had many comments about how nice we look through our site - and that is because of the behind-the-scenes work and help we get from Pixpa.
This is a plug and play, complete site for photography. Everything you need (and more) is right at your fingertips. Want to create multiple galleries? Check! Want to create galleries within galleries? Check! Want to be alerted of an order? Check! Just want a place to display your artwork? Check! Want to create a blog with photo inserts, etc.? Check! Just about anything you can want to do as a photo studio is right here. Photo templates, SEO, galleries, shopping carts, client-only pages, etc. I looked at NINE possible websites to create the look and feel that I wanted as a studio photographer and artist. NONE compare to Pixpa.
I love most things. I really had to think hard about what I don't like. If anything, I would have to say that the web-building software is COMPLEX. I come from the computer industry and owned computer stores and ISP service. I understand web-building! But there have been times I have had to ask how to do something. The thing is, this isn't really a negative because they ALWAYS answer you questions quickly and with impromptu tutorials showing you how to do things step-by-step!

I wanted to re-design my photography website with a fresh and modern look and after spending a long time looking at many different platforms, I decided to use Pixpa based on the wide range of templates and design options available as well as the ability to sell my images directly from my website. The who experience using pixpa is very straight forward and there are so many great features and ways to customise your website. The support pages are also really useful, and if you can't find the answer to your query, the support helpdesk are always super quick to respond and even send personalised video clips to actually show you what to do in order to resolve the query. I absolutely love this platform and would recommend to any photographers looking to build a portfolio or online store!

It is very easy to use and has great customer service. All my queries are answered in a very timely manner, and they are always able to help me. The overall features available are great and I am guilty of not using Pixpa to its full potential. There are also several different tiers of subscription which are perfect for different users with varying needs.
So far, I've had no problems with Pixpa!

I didn't get any support before and the page didn't have many options to modify.
Pixpa is easy to use and you can create very professional pages by Pixpa. The support team is there all the time and the customer service is top quality. They are ready to help you out with any problem you may have. I just love Pixpa.
I haven't found yet anything to complain. The price is very affordable considering how many functions the Page have. The support team is ready to help you immediately. That's very unique feature.

I have had a great experience for the most part. There have been some features that I feel are lacking and the price for storage I feel is a bit too high. Other than that, this has been a great experience in getting my first website up and running.
I like the value for the price, the amount of features, and how easy it is to get a website launched
Changing features and switching between tabs is slow. Changing features can take about 5-10 seconds to apply and this really adds up when designing a look.

The best customer service in website templates! Building the site felt like having a personal assistant on call to help every step of the way. Every question I had was not only answered very quickly but often even solved directly by the PIXPA team. It was like having your own web designer for free! My favorite team to work with!

My overall experience has been good, and in business...That's amazing. Even when I had an issue they worked to fix it. Pixpa isn't something that I need to worry about while running my business. I'm thankful for that.
First its the customer service. I've worked with this software and I've had issues that they quickly resolved. I feel like I'm actually working with a team. I've built numerous pixpa websites for my friends who need a simple easy to use software to market themselves. To make my response simple.... All of my future websites will be through Pixpa. I'm obsessed with seeing my images on their landing pages.
I've been with Pixpa for a few years. So i've seen the version of the software that made me... let's just say, agitated. lol But they upgrade and made a tweak here and there to make it better for the user so my con is possibly the video hosting. Can I host my videos through Pixpa, instead of a third party? not sure.

I have doubled my clients since launching my website. It looks very professional and it's easy for clients to navigate. I also post on social media with links to the website so I have more people visiting my site.
I've been hesitant building a website because it can get confusing and overwhelming. With Pixpa I was able to contact support staff when I had questions. They always answered quickly and I was able to keep working. Also, they produced little videos to help show me what I needed to do. I couldn't have built a website without their quick help
I haven't come across anything I'm not happy with.

Overall the quirks are worth it for the affordability and ease of use. I now have a professional-looking site that was easy to set up. I switched over from the "Mug" competitor and this has been a great experience in comparison. I could never get their templates to look right, and stay that way, no matter what I did. Photography is mostly my hobby, but I like to maintain a web presence to make a few bucks here and there and Pixpa's tools are perfect for that.
I like how easy it was to go from nothing to a functional and attractive website. I did the majority of setting up my site in one day. It's easy to get things looking the way you want, especially once you get used to where everything is on their interface. Everything looks great on desktop and mobile - the latter of which is especially good since it gets auto-formatted. If I had to maintain two copies of the site, I never would.
At times it is a bit clunky. You have to upload things several times if you want to use the same photo in multiple places. I also found the drag-and-drop function to behave strangely on Firefox for macOS. And overall, some things in the interface just didn't make sense. But these are all minor compared to the overall experience. I also wish more storage was included for galleries - we all know how cheap storage is these days.

After several tries on other platforms I discovered Pixpa and I adopted it very quickly. The logic of use is simple and the customization possibilities are really varied. Working with pixpa allows me to concentrate on what I know, my job and not on the management of my website. As a photographer, I can only highly recommend discovering pixpa, trying it out and working with it. The technical team is available, attentive and very efficient, which does not spoil anything.

I’ve used so many different website hosts in the past (Squarespace, WordPress, Format) and Pixpa is by far my favorite. It’s the best value and has everything I need to grow my business. I love all the features for photographers, as it comes in handy with my design work. It’s the most user friendly and, overall, delivers a fabulous experience.
Sometimes the drag and drop feature doesn’t drag smoothly but I always get it to work.

Pixpa is an all in one program, I haven’t been able to find any other one that includes as much as Pixpa does.
I love that Pixpa had all the features I was looking for in a website host. Not having to have a handful of subscriptions to multiple places was what I was desperate to find and I am so glad I have discovered it! The team is top notch with communication and are always there to help me with any question I might have!
I would love to see the program have some more custom tools geared towards a photography business, for services I would love to see a deposit/retainer and tip option.

After over a decade with another platform, I decided to make a switch regarding my photography web presence. Pixpa doesn't appear to make their branding options clear. Or at least I wasn't aware of any info/options available to me. I had to ask that Pixpa branding and link-outs be removed from my site. It was do immediately, with no issue, but I would rather the default be no branding OR that you give me complete control over that portion.

Pixpa is perfect for what I want – a showcase for special photographic images. I do not sell, so I do not use their shopping system. The customer support is excellent. You can work with a live chat line at any time. The support personnel are very quick to respond and are extremely helpful. They are as good (probably better) than any other provider.
Pixpa is very similar (very similar!) to SquareSpace but at a lower cost. There are some interface differences between the two and some things are better on SquareSpace and some are better on Pixpa. For me, I like how picture size is controlled with dragging a handle on the picture, rather than SquareSpace's very clunky spacers.
Sometimes it is not too clear where to make a setting or adjustment. Pixpa seems to put settings all over the place. But you get used to it. Also, there are sometimes that there seems to be some extra space that I cannot seem to get rid of. I am sure I am missing a setting somewhere, but that goes back to my first point.

My decision to go ahead with Pixpa has been one of the best I have made with respect to hosting my galleries and especially so with the functionality of a blog. By having this option, I am now able to add html5 + js in the Pixpa studio and showcase my interactive videos and see some good cash flow.
In addition to increased functionality from my previous host and substantially reduced cost (close to 60%!), Pixpa displays my galleries in a most pleasing and dynamic manner. There are numerous options for design elements and if you happen to choose one style that you soon become tired of, with a click you’re back to your original choice. The team behind Pixpa has obviously spent plenty of time in enabling photographers to implement a design layout that suits their specific needs.
It took a while to become familiar with the GUI in the studio builder, but it was just a matter of time working with the tools and I was up and running. Also, management was prompt and helpful with my requests.

I was hesitant to use the platform as I was coming from services like Wix. But I love the choice of templates and integration with various services. Most importantly the support team have been very good and speedy in helping me with any issues I've come across. I now have 2 sites running on Pixpa.

Overall experience was great, worth every single bucks! Customer service is amazing and able to solve most of your issues if you are not tech savvy! Also, It's great if your website is heavily dependent on photo contents!
I've tried both Wix and Pixpa and chose to remain with Pipxa because it's simpler for me to set up than their rival Wix. Another thing that amazed me was how quickly their customer support responded and always took care of the majority of my problems. Unlike rivals that take a long time to resolve issues and deploy AI system replies that are BS. That's the major reason I continue to support them today!
Lack of features for video contents (can only embed from Youtube) I hope they allow user to upload video to their own server? Maybe in the future!

Customer service has been great. Pricing is awesome. Look of my account is clean and professional. I love Pixpa.
I needed a simple professional set up. I found it. I also loved that it doesn't kill my wallet. I am a seasonal photographer so sometimes my website just sits. Its nice to know when I am not working I am not spending tons of money. It also is easy to use the preset templates. Which is great cause I really am not a computer person.
I am still not understanding to customize or use more advanced options. But not really a con because its something I know I need to work on.

Sometimes you need to do something outside the template. And without HTML it is problematic. But technical support quickly prompts and corrects the code for you.Fiction! It remains only to work as a photographer, and not to study the code.Customers love custom galleries.Good mobile optimization with useful settings.
- Can't delete a mailing list. Come on, guys! - For downloading a complete gallery, a user's email is necessary. I prefer not to collect emails, but I have no choice

Very good experience, using it for months now.
Lots of features included in the normal subscription (customer galleries, android application, templates, ...).
The UI could be sometimes confusing with a lot of possibities.
