Otto Capture is a document capture and processing platform for accounting and bookkeeping practices working in Xero and FreeAgent.

Submission. Each practice gets its own branded submission subdomain, so clients send documents to an address carrying the practice's name rather than a shared generic inbox. Documents arrive by email, WhatsApp, or direct upload to the portal. Clients need no account and no app.

Classification and extraction. At triage, Otto classifies each document as a bill, purchase credit note, sales invoice, or sales credit note, then extracts the header data and the line items. Line items are extracted by default rather than sold as an upgrade. Otto records his reasoning for the figures he extracted, so your team can see why a value was read the way it was instead of accepting a number without context.

Coding suggestions. Otto suggests a nominal code drawn from how that client previously coded documents from the same supplier. Learning is scoped per client and per supplier, so one client's treatment of a supplier never carries across to another. Suggestions are recommendations, and your team reviews and adjusts before anything is published.

Publishing. Nothing reaches the accounting platform until a person publishes it.

Security and data handling. The AI models Otto uses run with zero data retention, so documents are not retained by any AI provider and are not used to train or improve their models. Submission addresses are unique to each practice and are never shared with another.

Billing. Charges are based on documents published. Each client sits automatically on the cheapest tier for its volume, there are no client minimums, and a client that publishes nothing in a month is not charged. The trial runs for 60 days.
