Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

TraceBoard Suite overview
What is TraceBoard Suite?
TraceBoard Suite is a traceability and verification platform for engineering teams that need structured requirements, engineering work, testing, evidence, risk, and documentation without the complexity of traditional enterprise tools.
Designed for small and midsize engineering organizations, TraceBoard Suite provides a connected engineering system that helps teams move beyond spreadsheets and disconnected documents while keeping their existing engineering processes practical and familiar.
At the center is a structured traceability system connecting engineering needs, requirements, work items, verification activities, test results, evidence, risks, findings, and related engineering information. Instead of maintaining relationships manually across spreadsheets and documents, teams can record them in one system and use the connected data throughout the engineering lifecycle.
The suite consists of three integrated capabilities:
**TraceBoard** provides requirements management and engineering traceability, including relationships between requirements, work, verification, risks, findings, and other engineering objects. Baselines and connected relationships help teams understand changes and their potential impact.
**TraceDocs** generates engineering documents from controlled project data. Teams can create requirements specifications, test plans, and custom engineering documents while retaining baseline information for reproducibility. Documents can be exported to PDF and Word.
**TraceTest** manages test cases, test runs, execution results, and evidence while maintaining traceability between verification activities and the requirements they verify.
TraceBoard Suite also provides engineering-state information, audit and assessment support, Git-based development integration, and configurable AI assistance. AI is used to assist engineering activities while the underlying relationships and engineering data remain structured and deterministic.
The platform supports standards-aware engineering practices and includes templates and structures that can be adapted to environments such as ISO 14971, IEC 62304, ISO 26262, and DO-178C. It is designed to support an organization's engineering and quality processes rather than claim automatic regulatory compliance or certification.
TraceBoard Suite is particularly suited to organizations developing medical devices, automotive systems, aerospace and defense products, and other complex engineered systems. It is also useful for non-regulated engineering teams that want stronger requirements, verification, change-impact, and documentation practices.
The ideal customer has reached the limits of Excel, Word, shared documents, or disconnected tools, but finds traditional requirements-management and ALM platforms too expensive, complicated, or heavyweight.
TraceBoard Suite is available as a self-hosted Docker deployment, giving organizations control over their engineering environment and data. Local and offline operation is supported when the deployment is configured with appropriate local services.
