Trupeo overview
What is Trupeo?
Trupeo is a web-based shared inbox for teams that answer one email address together. It connects to an existing Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or IMAP mailbox. The email stays with the provider, and Trupeo follows new mail in real time through Gmail and Microsoft push notifications and IMAP IDLE.
How the work is shared
Every conversation has one state (To assign, In progress or Done) and, once someone takes it, one member on it. The For me, To assign, Still to do, Done and All views split the work without rules to set up. Team notes and @mentions sit beside the email and never reach the sender. When a member starts a reply, the others see it before they start their own. Replies leave from the shared address, and "Send and mark done" files the conversation in the same click.
Contacts
The shared address book fills itself from the mail. Contacts can be gathered into groups, and a group is written to as one recipient, in Bcc by default. The owner can keep contacts and groups up to date with Google Contacts or Outlook, both ways.
Access and security
Each member signs in with their own account and nobody shares the mailbox password. Owners invite and remove members, and scopes limit a member to the conversations that concern them. Two-factor authentication is available. Data is hosted in France, and Gmail access was verified by Google after an independent CASA security assessment.
Integrations
Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, any IMAP provider, Google Contacts and Outlook contacts. Claude and ChatGPT can work in the mailbox through Trupeo's connector, with the member's own rights and a confirmation before anything is sent.
Pricing
Price per connected mailbox per month, excl. VAT: €10 for a mailbox shared by 2 people, €20 from 3 people, with no limit on the number of people. Every feature is included and nothing is priced per person. 30-day free trial, no credit card. 50% off for verified associations and schools only.
