What is WhatsArab?
WhatsArab is a cloud-based WhatsApp Business platform for sales, marketing and customer support teams. It combines a shared inbox, contact CRM, messaging automation and analytics in an Arabic-first workspace with English support and right-to-left layouts. As a Meta Tech Provider, WhatsArab connects businesses to the official WhatsApp Business Platform through Meta’s Embedded Signup.
Teams can assign conversations, snooze follow-ups, search message history and use saved replies while retaining customer context. Contact imports, tags and filters help organize audiences. Businesses can create Arabic and English message templates, submit them to Meta, run segmented broadcasts and review delivery, read rates and message costs. Multiple WhatsApp numbers can share a workspace, with limits depending on the subscription plan.
The visual chatbot builder supports questions, branching, delays, API calls and human handoff. Keyword auto-replies and drip journeys help automate routine responses and follow-ups. Knowledge-base AI answers use the business’s own content, with handoff to a person when the assistant is uncertain. A click-to-WhatsApp widget helps turn website visits into conversations.
For commerce workflows, Salla order events can trigger customer messages. Shopify and WooCommerce integrations are also supported, depending on setup. Developers can connect existing systems through the documented REST API and HMAC-signed webhooks. Official SDKs are available as @whatsarab/sdk on npm for TypeScript/Node.js and whatsarab on PyPI for Python.
Access and integration controls include team roles, scoped API keys and AES-256-GCM credential encryption. Activity logs provide visibility into team actions; retention and export options vary by plan. Documentation and email support are available, with additional support options on eligible plans.
WhatsArab is suited to small and midsize businesses, especially Arabic-speaking and bilingual teams in MENA, including e-commerce, retail and service businesses. A free plan and a 14-day free trial are available. Software subscription charges are separate from Meta messaging fees, which are billed directly by Meta with no WhatsArab markup.
