Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Optix overview
What is Optix?
Optix is a document management platform that offers flexible solutions allowing companies spanning the Fortune 500, SMBs, and federal, state and local governments to create streamlined processes that integrate through every department.
Administrators can easily assign access levels to various users, and users with permissions can easily create multiple databases with custom index logic without the need to involve developers. Database tables are automatically generated by the system once GUI-based workflow designs are completed using the Application Generator.
Optix supports document capture through scanning and works with a variety of scanners available on the market to enable capture speeds of over 200 pages per minute. Once documents are captured, they become searchable with results presented in a ranked list format based on relevancy. Users have the option to view the documents in plain text or in original data format.
Optix supports bulk data upload and indexing using extracted metadata or customer-supplied constants such as file and folder names. Documents can also be captured via fax transmissions and email. Each workflow can be configured based on the clients' specific requirements and adjusted on the go. The modular structure of Optix's email capture and indexing tools enables organizations to use only the functionality they require, be it the separation of emails into components, the routing of these components to specific queues, or the filing of them into repositories.
Report design, indexing and distribution is also supported through a separate component of the system called Optix COLD. Once indexed, all reports are easily searchable by all users.
