I found SnagIt while working at another firm about 10 years ago and I've made sure that it was available for me to use in my successive positions.  I also purchased my own version for home use. It's the only program for screen capture IMO. Nothing else compares.

My daily Screen Capture and Annotations workhorse

Overall, I'm still in love with the product and if a company I work for won't expense it, I pay for it myself. That's how much I rely on Snagit every day. Whether it's to take a video of a new feature working perfectly to taking a screenshot of my developer's code and pinpointing the `blame`, it's the quickest and easiest platform you could ever use.

Juts buy it and go about your day. You won't regret it.

SnagIt - Worthy Screen Capture Application

The ability to create training, job aids, documentation with rich and vibrant imaging and create logos has actually made it fun to use.

I have subscribbed out of my own pocket for years now, I was recommended it by a colleague at my old job and yeah its been great ever since. The updates are also consistent and usually have good changes. 

Personal/work use 

Great product because it is quick to use, very helpful to share with colleagues to improve efficiency, and is a reasonable price.  If it were just a little less expensive, we could justify it be automatically added to dozens of our other employee to use.

Useful tool for marketing teams

I was lookng for a replacement of Skitch. I'm not entirely satisfied, specially with the impossibility to import PDF to Snagit and edit it before re-export (Skitch does it); I also am frustated by the file management: no sub-albums to organize my stuff, tag management is bad...

Snagit has been a amazing experience for me. It's user-friendly, loaded with advanced features, and highly customizable, which makes it a powerful tool in my arsenal. Even though the wealth of options could be overwhelming, the clear and detailed documentation from TechSmith makes it easy to navigate and leverage these functionalities to streamline my daily tasks. Best of all, I haven't found any drawbacks—it truly delivers on its promises and is as well-developed as advertised.

Snagging my way through the day-to-day

I have used Snag-It for almost as long as it's been in existence.  I got introduced to it by a friend and have never looked back.

SnagIt is Indispensible

Great product, and an obvious add-on to anyone using TechSmith's other products, especially Camtasia. Some people don't need the advanced functionality offered by Snagit and will do okay with a free and open-source capture tool. But as soon as they need more than free and open-source can give them, they should migrate to Snagit.

Does a lot and helps minimize software sprawl

Snagit is user-friendly, especially for beginners. The ability to quickly capture, edit, and share content is a game-changer for productivity, especially for creating tutorials, documentation, or presentations.
