What is BuildingConnected?

BuildingConnected is the all-in-one bid management platform for construction professionals. Connect owners, general contractors, and subcontractors through a real-time construction network of over 1 million.

With features such as invitation sending, bid management, bid leveling, advanced analytics & reporting, subcontractor qualification, and more, users are invited to bid on projects directly from inside the platform. From there, the full bidding process can be managed in a single location, from project drawings up to the final bid.

Compare bids side by side and level centrally to increase transparency. Edit scope sheets if additional information is surfaced after bids have been received, and include unsolicited bids when leveling. Access every bid version to revisit original values and proposals.

BuildingConnected enables the analysis and mitigation of subcontractor risk through TradeTapp, with support for the automatic import of subcontractor contact and qualification data through API. Advanced analytics and reporting provide users with the need-to-know data for informed decisions, including historical costs, subcontractor relationships, and more.

“TradeTapp is a huge step forward for our qualification system. It easily manages customizable prequalification questionnaires, allows for easy review of completed questionnaires, and they even offer a team that will review and rate financials for you if you purchase BidBoard Pro. The greatest downfalls we've experienced are actually now in their feature upgrades. Some of our vendors, like architects, need to be prequalified but never listed on Building Connected because they're not invited to bid on jobs. They're placing this upgrade in the system so we don't have to list vendors like architects on Building Connected. The other issue is now a feature upgrade too. Our qualification insurance section varies significantly for suppliers and professional in that some companies don't need to supply insurance while others require professional and errors & omissions. They're updating the system so this level of questionnaire customization may be completed. ”
