Ombori Grid offers easy, rapid solutions for businesses who need IoT, Digital Signage and Mobile apps. It inclides a suite of customizable, ready-made, no-code apps which you can deploy right away, or you can create your own with our developer tools.

Grid is built on top of Azure IoT. The platform collects and synchronizes data between apps and external data sources. The Web-based console acts as a central management hub for customizing and monitoring devices, as well as account management.

Our own operating system, GridOS, runs on Intel or Raspberry Pi 4 devices. It supports both IoT apps and Screen apps, and is required for IoT apps. Grid devices running screen apps can run GridOS, Android, Samsung Tizen, Windows, MacOS or a Web browser.

Grid apps can talk to cameras, sensors, Raspberry pi, mobiles, tablets, smartwatches, door actuators, POS systems, kiosks, and other IoT devices.

All Grid devices and Grid apps can share data and talk to each other, and can display relevant data on digital signage or mobile devices. Users can interact via touch screen, voice, gesture, and mobile.

Combining apps and hardware in innovative ways allows sophisticated customer experiences to be deployed quickly and easily, combining the best of both physical and digital experiences.

For example, a customer places a product with an RFID tag near a sensor. This displays detailed product information on a screen. They can find out more about the selected product and alternatives, and download information to their mobile device. They can then make an immediate purchase or place an order for delivery or pickup at a later date if the item is not currently in stock.
