What is Universign?
Universign is a web and mobile electronic signature capture and timestamping solution that allows businesses to collect signatures on documents online, remotely, or face-to-face. Universign’s mobile applications allow users to sign documents from any device including a PC, tablet, or smartphone. Universign offers features including workflow management, multi-signatory configuration, document storage, archiving, reporting, and more, and all electronic signatures created within the platform are compliant with European regulations including TSI EN 319 411-1 and 319 411-2 European standards.
From the Universign web portal, users can manage accounts and users and configure workflows for electronic signature collection. Businesses can set up multi-document and multi-signatory workflows, which automates the transfer of documents to multiple people via email in order to collect signatures. Universign offers authentication features including certified timestamping in accordance with eIDAS regulations, SMS authentication, and identity checking. Dashboards and automatic notifications help businesses to track the progress of signatures in real time and send reminders to signatories when delays occur.
