Efficient and User-Friendly: A Review of CANVAS’s Features and Support

My overall experience in Canvas was very good. It is easy for me to navigate my students progress, make an announcement, create a discussion board, messages students using the canvas inbox, and many more.

Canvas Review

In general, I have quite a positive feeling towards Canvas. It offers a one-stop website where I can get all my coursework, including the assignments, lectures, and grades. Through conducting lectures, discussion boards, and, the messaging system, I also like the flexibility of interacting with the instructors and other students. Occasionally there can be problems with navigation, as well as a situation when one or another course is better structured than the other, overall, Canvas fosters a productive learning process. Features such as notification customization and tracking of deadlines have been particularly useful being the ones which have been exploited most by the author. In general, I can state that, with the help of Canvas, I do not have any problems with controlling my academic load.

CANVAS A Reliable Learning Platform 

My overall experience with Canvas has been mostly positive. It is a user-friendly platform that has made managing my coursework much more convenient. The overview page, where all my learning materials are accessible in one place, is particularly helpful.

Overall, it’s been easy to follow. The format makes sense. You’re able to upload assignments via mobile app as well. It makes planning much easier.

College experience 

The best thing a new Canvas user could do would be to attend training FIRST. Do NOT just jump in like I did and assume that because you're tech savvy you'll figure it out quickly. It took me weeks and weeks when I first started using it to build my class. Lots of trial and error and calling the IT department. I should have just saved myself some time and gone to training! But I didn't have the time so I winged it. Ugh. On the whole though, once you learn how to use it, it's not bad at all. And it gets easier with time.  And again, it's 10x better than Moodle! Also, there is a Canvas "Commons" where you can look at other Canvas courses that other instructors have put together so you can get an idea of techniques you might use. But, you still might need to do a training session with IT to figure out how to replicate the cool graphics that others are using! Again, it's not intuitive, and there is not a lot of online help available. But on the whole, Canvas is the best thing out there right now.

Once the errors were finally corrected, my experience has been ease of use and organized.

This tool is excellent; it simply requires some assistance.

For all my online course work, Canvas has been a game-changer. I don't worry about how my students are doing as I can everything under one platform. I highly recommend Canvas to all online tutors.

A fruitful learning experience

It has been good for my first experience with a learning management system. It had everything we needed in a basic sense. Although, we have since moved over to Cloud assess, and the support, and features certainly outweigh CANVAS.

Canvas is a strong learning system that meets the needs of all education. Although it could improve in performance and onboarding, its great features and easy accessibility make it a top choice for both teachers and students.

Canvas: A User-Friendly and Powerful Tool for all Education

If I remember correctly, I used canvas during community college, undergrad and law school. Throughout there's nearly 10 years of school. I saw the product change and evolved to meet the needs of its users. I remember preferring the platform distinctly over competitors like slack. I even used it as a tutor which provided the functionality of the professor point of view and the grading function on canvas was very easy to use and allowed the provision of detailed feedback in addition to any manner of assignment you might desire

Canvas is an Excellent Educational Tool for Connecting With Students 

I have always had a great time using Canvas. I used it for years when I was in college. I found that Canvas allowed me to submit assignments for class without any hassle. I have never had any problems with using Canvas.

An A+ software program 

I have used canvas not only as a student but also as an administrator and both experiences were exemplary. Administration is made very easy, but also navigating different classes and due dates as a student is so nice and all put into one convenient place with a very short learning curve needed for new users.

I can integrate third-party apps, such as Google Drive and Zoom, to enhance my teaching and provide a seamless learning experience for my students.Canvas by Instructure has been a game-changer in my teaching practice. Its user-friendly interface, customization options, communication features, robust grading and feedback system, analytics and reporting capabilities, integration with other learning tools, and exceptional support and training make it a top-notch learning management system. I highly recommend Canvas to educators who are looking for a cutting-edge platform to empower their teaching and enhance the learning experience for their students.

Empowering Learning with a Cutting-Edge Platform

Overall Canvas has made my job as a professor more fluid and convenient. It has saved me many hours of time and has provided my students with a great tool to succeed in college. I have a very positive opinion of this LMS and am glad my institution uses it. There are some things about it that I am not too happy with, but the positives greatly outweigh the negatives.

CANVAS-A Great LMS

Canvas is flexible enough to allow us to implement courses for unique purposes outside the traditional college course (online or with online support). I have built a course framework in the LMS for a semester-long class, with traditional assignments, grading, etc. (The gradebook and SpeedGrader are great.) However, it's also let my team create information hubs and portals, using Mastery Paths to direct different people to different resources, and offering flexible components (such as "mark as done" vs. actual assignments) that allow courses to stay evergreen throughout multiple semesters without having to be recycled. I've been able to use Canvas not only as a LMS platform for moving learners through courses and content, but to provide training and information and instruction on programs and processes.
