Pros

Happy with A2X, it makes bookkeeping way easier between your Shopify, Amazon and more by importing automatically all transactions, already categorized perfectly. Saves hundreds of hours of bookkeeping per year! Recommended!

Cons

I cannot find so many cons. If you have multiple accounts, pricing gets more expensive but it still worth saving your time

A2X makes accounting for an Amazon business a lot more tolerable

Pros

It does exactly what its supposed to do, i.e. creates invoices in my accounting system that I can reconcile my Amazon payments against

Cons

It doesn't do all that much for the money, in fact price wise it is too expensive for the limited functionality it offers. That said there are not really any alternatives out there

Easy enough to setup and does the job for a low cost.

Pros

Setting up my account was simple and easily simplified my weekly accounting tasks. Setting a couple rules in a2x + xero means that all my orders (1-time & subscription) and refunds for Shopify stores are automatically tracked and logged for my biz's book keeping appropriately. Honestly perplexed how this isn't native to Xero's offering.

Cons

Figuring out the configuration changes when my banking/Xero changed meant that I also had to go fix my setup in a2x.

Huge Time Saver for Amazon Sellers!

This saves me so much time. This has turned what used to be a tedious, manual process into an easy, quick one.

Pros

It's a huge time saver. This alone justifies the cost (versus the time it would take one to do this all manually), even at a low value of time. Also, it integrates excellently with Amazon (which it should, as that's what it's designed for). It pulls all Amazon sales data in and maps it out in a way that's organized and easy to digest.

Cons

While it's essential for high-volume Amazon sellers, it doesn't help when it comes to selling on other platforms (like eBay, for example). Depending on your Amazon selling volume, the cost may not be as beneficial for you if you're selling elsewhere.

Exceptional Accounting Software with Unbeatable Features

We have been using A2X for almost a year now and haven't looked back. The software is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, making our accounting much smoother and efficient. The customer service has been excellent and the cost is unbeatable. We couldn't be happier with our experience so far and would highly recommend A2X to anyone looking for great accounting software.

Pros

A2X has been an absolute game changer for our business! The software is incredibly user friendly and makes reconciling accounts a breeze. It's also very cost effective and the customer service is top notch. We have been so impressed with the accuracy and speed of the software. Highly recommend!

Cons

The only issue we have experienced with A2X is the occasional difficulty in setting up more complex accounts. It took a bit of time and effort to figure out, but once we got the hang of it, we've had no problems. Overall, it's been a great experience!

Cool Software To Track Amazon Marketplace Sales

Excellent. Solved a few annoying issues we had and sped up some reporting internally.

Pros

Amazon Support is the bee's knees if you ever need it. This software speeds up a process and gives you ore time to deal with other tasks. That time savings alone is enough to justify the cost for our company. The integrations are top notch.

Cons

The price, I can't use it for my personal side gigs as I wouldn't be able to justify the cost due to low sales volume via Amazon channel, it's more of a niche channel for me, compared to, say, eBay. Great for high-volume business use, in that case the price is pretty much negligible.

Great tool for automating biweekly transfers

Pros

A2X simplifies the task for importing sales, returns, COGS and fees data from Amazon for each biweekly payment. It is easy to use, and provides a single dashboard for all imported data loads. It is a lot cheaper than hiring an accountant to perform the same task

Cons

Two areas of improvement are (a) better handling of multi-currency payments: it was confusing to setup my Mexican Pesos payments from Amazon.mx alongside my USD payments from Amazon.com (b) more data / analysis for each transfer. The current dashboard interface is focused on transferring data from Amazon to Quickbooks, but does not provide much information about each transfer (revenue, cost, transfer trends)

Best app to automate revenue entry into Xero (and other softwares)

It eliminates the need for complicated journal entries and cuts the time reconciling FBA to minutes.

Pros

FBA charges are very complicated. A2X is set up once by mapping accounts and then automatically imports data into Xero. It automatically splits the data between months, so regardless of when your payment comes in (which is every 2 weeks in my experience), the data is in the correct period. It will also give you default accounts which is great if you only sell on Amazon. This setup, along with a good online accounting software, can make your accounting work extremely easy and quick. Seriously, for the time I spent before doing journal entries, A2X is well worth the price. I currently use this software for all clients selling on Amazon.

Cons

The worst part is more on Amazon's side, with their myriad of charge types, inventory types and revenue types. A2X doesn't have any cons in my experience except that the initial mapping can take some time to work out.

Pros

Easy to use and immediately saw the value. Splitting Amazon deposits between months was a brutal exercise and now A2X handles it all. A2X & Xero is a a no brainer tech stack for any Amazon seller.

Cons

That it doesn't work for other sales channels.

Save enormous quantity of time

Before we have to go Reports in amazon pass it to Excel spreadsheet, do the math and then classify the accounts in Xero, etc. all these steps were headaches, all this process take before 2-3 hours, now with A2X it takes about 5-10 min, you just set up one time and that's it. is magical. we are so happy that we found A2X, our Amazon accounting is organized and what we like most, so quick simple and fast, we love A2X features, and we love the price. 10000... thumbs up

we would love, I don't know if it is possible, but do the same with PayPal and eBay, eBay is splitting now with PayPal, so I suppose, A2X can implement a system for the new eBay payment method, currently eBay is starting to manage new payments method, our account already stop accepting PayPal for our eBay sales, we are currently trying to figure it out if they are charging fees or not, but we are still using paypal for our bigcommerce website

I like how easily A2X Integrates with QuickBooks and Xero and data is downloaded from Amazon.

Cons

The tax mappings are a bit clunky and manual.

I work as an Accountant for businesses in eCommerce business like Amazon FBA. I ALWAYS suggest my clients to use A2X integration between Amazon Seller Central to accounting software like Quickbooks.

Pros

- easy to use interface - various reports to be generated - immensely helpful for business with lots of products to account for Cost of Goods Sold

Pros

Really quick to get started and setup with A2x. It only took a couple of minutes to get linked to amazon and xero and was much quicker than expected.

Cons

Can be expensive if you have more than one marketplace or need multi-currency options but overall it is worth the price considering the timesavings made.

Imports my transactions from Amazon and automatically categorizes sales and expenses. Also tracks COGS in the month my inventory is sold and debits my Inventory Asset account. Make reporting easier.

Pros

I recommend this app for anyone who wants to automate their accounting workflows. I use A2X for both my Amazon and Shopify transactions. It's been running in the background for over a year now without any issues.

Cons

Amazon and Shopify are separate accounts so sometimes you need to toggle back and forth, but its only a minor inconvenience.

It makes tax season so much easier. I always have accurate sales data in my accounting software and can track CoGS without issues as well. With a great interface and stellar customer service, the overall user experience is great.

Pros

A2X seamlessly transfers Amazon data to QBO. It made tracking closing fees and FBA fees so much easier! I recommend it to anyone who wants easy and accurate Amazon data reflected on their accounting software. Also, their customer service team is top tier. They really take the time to understand my issue and answer in a proficient manner. Once I asked them a question about another software, and I ended up getting a better and more practical answer from the A2X team than said software's CS team!

Cons

For what I am using it for, I don't think A2X has any significant cons. I could see them having a mid tier between 1k and 5k, because my sales usually hover right above 1k units per month but I have to take a significant price increase to my subscription. I think a midway 2,5k plan would be perfect for me, with a discount. I may be one of the few people experiencing this problem due to my particular circumstances though.

the mapping could be more streamlined for foreign currencies. the breakdown of invoice/ bill is also somewhat annoying. the rest is pretty good

Pros

The possibility to automate accounting of Amazon transactions is fundamental to have a clear view of the business without spending too much time, Tracking products give the ability to sync cost and revenue for each product.

Cons

The need of making manual adjustments to inventory to split shipping and prep cost on each product is far from ideal.

Pros

Automatic book-keeping with A2X saves a lot of time for data entry importing and coding correctly into Xero the myriad of Amazon transactions broken down in multiple pieces creating invoices and bills. Cannot imagine how one can do the same tasks without A2X. We have tried several other connectors before choosing this one and this is the only one that really works and it's really needed. Customer support is super-attentive and once you have properly setup things the right way everything goes smooth and you can almost forget about it. Many thanks to the A2X team for making this fantastic product and for an excellent support.

Cons

For small startup companies the monthly cost is a bit pricey having a limited number of transactions. Once business picks up and grows to higher levels every penny spent on A2X it's worth a hundred times it's value.

Great product, great value

We had no easy way to account for our Amazon sales. It was too laborious and confusing to manually enter all the fees and revenue numbers associated with Amazon, and a lot of the automated services such as A2X were too expensive. A2X was very well priced and offered the same service as competitors.

Pros

We needed a way to save time in Xero when it came to doing accounting for our Amazon sales. A2X was the most affordable option, and it has worked flawlessly since we first started using it 16 months ago. It’s a major time saver.

Cons

I had a little trouble figuring out how to account for Cost of Goods Sold on Amazon, but I believe they have updated the software to have that functionality.

Expensive for what it does !

Had a lot of issues initially​ getting it set up correctly to handle zero-rated sales and disappointed I needed an additional license for the US when the product is already expensive for what it does.

Pros

Easier than importing and exporting using spreadsheets

Cons

Expensive for what it does and the subscription is limited to 5 market places which does not allow you to do Europe​ and US.

Must Have Program For Amazon Sellers

Amazon accounting has saved us a lot of time and headache, we don't fully utilize the service to it's potential work inventory tracking, however the journaling is great. There needs to be better tax customization, and the price is a little steep in my opinion for a smaller seller.

Pros

Awesome importing of Amazon information, and organizing the chart of accounts before hand. Easyish interface to navigate, some good graphs and great organization of payment periods.

Cons

The inability to roll back translations really hurt us when we started learning. Accidently importing twice, there is no other option but to delete. Maybe this is Amazon's issue, but there needs to be separation of tax collected. Right now it's only option is to group into one tax account, which doesn't work when you file tax remittances for several provinces. The price is pretty steep for a monthly reoccurring service.

Time saving on bookkeeping

Pros

Such a good app - been using it for the past few months and it saves me an unbelievable amount of time and energy. All it takes is a few clicks to take care of everything on the accounting side. Probably the best subscription service I use in terms of value for money.

Cons

Nothing really - there isn't anything I can think of that I would change!

Simple & Excellent Customer Support

Excellent, the price point is perfect for us as a new small business and it gets the job done.

Pros

I liked how easy it was to set up, I'm really new to this and found it super easy to get started. Also their customer support was fabulous when i did need some help.

Cons

My book keeper would like it if invoices could be imported as completed purchases not as drafts, but other wise nothing major.
