Great company!
Abledent CS allows me to work from wherever I have a internet connection. The ability to communicate with patients electronically is a total game changer for our office. I am able to work anytime I want. Charting is well laid out and works very well. Icons are well labeled and easy to find.

This product is user friendly , it is ideal to go for paper less . Software can store all relevant information of the patients. Easy to generate All kind of Reports, referrals to specialists , patients reminders, etc. The training given was amazing.Our trainer [SENSITIVE CONTENT] did a amazing job. She is very knowledgeable, encouraging and really helpful trainer. She is always there when ever we need support.
After sending the claims to insurance , sometimes the amount is sitting under the patient balance not under the insurance. Sometimes sitting wrong amount under insurance or patient balance. That make me to do one or few transactions before entering the payment. As I heard from Abel dent support,They are fixing that problem in the new version .

its good but the long hold times for support is CRAZY

I have been a client with Abeldent for more than 35years and from their business office to technical support they have always been a pleasure to work with. The new Abeldent LS+ has been easy to learn and adapt to, all of our staff have taken to it very quickly.
Installation was seamless. Tutorials and education provided was easy to follow. In house training the best! Support always helpful and available.
Needs more information on the business end for accounting. Daily Summarized Totals need to break down as previous programs did. Grand Totals of patients accounts not available in financials.

Patient data and reporting are completely paperless. Reports are very useful and can be run for any and all time frames. The software is excellent for our purposes.
Software has been specifically designed for dental practices and the training and support has been excellent and very timely.
Occasionally issues have arisen after an update has been installed that have taken a while for the AbelDent to resolve. The issues never stopped our business from being able to operate. Once reported to AbelDent follow up was immediate and a resolution followed shortly thereafter.

ABELDent has been a pleasure to deal with. Challenges have been few, very far between and always addressed. We recently had our office shut down due to a flood in the city we live in which has closed our office down for over 9 months now. ABELDent staff has gone above and beyond to support us during this especially difficult time. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend ABELDent.
The software is user friendly and the help menu is easy to navigate to find the information that you are looking for. The reports can be customized to bring up the exact information you are looking for from the program to fit your office requirements. The schedule is easy to customize and adding codes and changing colours is straight forward and extremely simple. Their website is great and easy to find what you are looking for. The tutorials are very helpful.
It would be nice to have more flexibility in changing the way the statements look and not be restricted to a certain number of characters in some areas. To be able to load a custom medical history would also be great as well to have a way to check contraindications with a patients medications.

Outstanding customer service, very curteous and helpful anytime you call. An amazing product that makes our life soo much easier even during the busiest days at the office
It is very user friendly and most tasks are very intuitive and require minimal effort to complete. We keep track of our proposed treatments in a very convenient manner by creating contacts that facilitate the job of the secretary when the time comes to schedule appointments.
As an office located in Quebec, the fact that it no longer provides french customer care and it cannot send claims to RAMQ directly... things that i think are going to be finally fixed very soon
Your positive feedback validates that we are on the right track and it encourages us to continue providing great system features and customer support. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide French customer care but we do continue to provide English language software that includes support for Quebec-specific features. In 2018 RAMQ implemented a new version of their claims system. We are now certified to support that new system, and we are in the final stages of preparing a new update for release that will support this capability.

I firmly believe that the training for this product was what allowed us to be able to able to take advantage of all the great feature this program has to offer. This company has an amazing team who is there for thier clients. Good, prompt customer service in the event that support is needed.
The single most important thing to any dental office is a full schedule. The automated messages by email and text are a huge time saver for the admin staff to confirm upcoming appointments and an amazing way to communicate with patients quickly and effectively.
The only thing we have noticed is that the planned worked doesn't get updated on the odontogram.

Booking appointments and moving appts, ease of sending insurance claim forms via edi, easy to understand tabs to navigate through the software. The trainer Neetu is outstanding. She responds immediately to our needs. Very personable.
The financial tab…often need to contact Abeldent to adjust accounting (this comment is from another AR staff person). Wait time is 40 minutes on hold during the day. Eastern time hours in a pacific time zone can get complicated.

I find Abeldent to be very user friendly. Navigating around the software using one finger to locate different aspects of a patients chart is amazing. Their support team is absolutely top notch, always answering calls promptly, very helpful and courteous.
New Voice Activation would help with charting. Having more information about a patient at one time (but I believe this is in the Advantage version) Some of the text boxes only holds a certain number of characters therefore some info needs to be abbreviated and this can be time consuming when training new staff.
Thanks for the positive review and continued support. We do have plans to offer voice activated charting, starting with Perio. ABELDent Cloud Server version features a Patient Dashboard which compiles the most requested patient information for viewing on one screen. Special note fields have been added as well that expand significantly the number of characters that can be added in the fields.

From dealing with the sales team, implementation team and support team it is always a smooth ride all the way to delivering the product to the client. Rarely any issues and if any it is taken care of quickly or escalated.
We have been implementing AbelDent for over 10 Years for our clients. The ease of administering and the knowledge of the support staff is by far the best experience when comparing other practice management software.
No cons to talk about really. They offer 24x7 support!

My relationship with the sales department and the service department has always been positive.
I have been using AbelDent software in my dental practice since 1989. The software is very stable and reliable. I rarely if ever need help with the software . Over 30+ years, as the profession has changed, I have updated my Abel system every 10 years.
I dislike the Abel Logo, only because I can't submit this survey without an answer in this field

There is nothing that i do not like about the software currently we are unable to use ABELDent at its full potential due to restrictions in our area for internet and i would like to be able to use the FULL ABELDent other than that no complaints.

This product is easy to use, the training materials provided are easy to follow, and when in need support is available with little wait time. We use it for all our dental practice management needs. In regards to my con, the company realized their errors and introduced much better functioning add ons that allowed me to cancel the third party software
Extremely stable reliable software, no real problems over the years
slow to adapt newer technologies, had to use a third party software as the feature brought forward by abledent did not have proper functionality.

Reporting, ease of use, insurance set up, and all paperless features.
Would like cross over appointments (patient who has DDS and HYG appt in same day) to flash or highlight both appts when clicked on. Same for linked family members with appts in same day.
The requested feature has been considered and will appear in a future version of ABELDent
