TriMed is a customizable, cloud-based EHR and practice management platform for independent medical practices seeking to consolidate clinical, financial and patient engagement workflows. Core functionality includes electronic health records, charting, scheduling, e-prescribing, eligibility verification, claims management, patient records, clinical reporting, document management, task management and revenue cycle tools. Patient-facing capabilities include a portal, online booking, electronic forms, digital check-in, appointment reminders, secure messaging, online bill payment and telemedicine. Native mobile apps for iOS and Android give clinicians access to schedules, charts, patient registration, photo uploads and hospital-rounding workflows.
TriMed’s modules are fully integrated, allowing clinical, demographic and financial information to move across the platform without repeated data entry or disconnected applications. Practices can configure templates, forms, reports, alerts and workflows to match their specialty and operating model. TriMed has particular depth in pediatrics, including well-visit workflows, growth tracking, vaccine management, immunization registry connectivity and family communication.
AI-powered documentation and workflow tools help reduce repetitive administrative tasks and support more efficient charting. Reporting and dashboard capabilities provide visibility into clinical activity, operations and revenue-cycle performance.
TriMed Complete is ONC-certified and designed to support HIPAA-compliant workflows. Certified capabilities include authentication and access controls, auditable events and reporting, automatic access time-outs, credential encryption, multi-factor authentication and trusted connections. TriMed also supports a REST-based FHIR R4 API, OAuth authentication and SMART on FHIR applications, along with interfaces for e-prescribing, laboratories, diagnostic imaging, immunization registries and clinical data exchange.
TriMed develops, owns, implements and supports its software. Customers work directly with the TriMed team for configuration, data migration, role-based training, go-live planning and ongoing support. Training options include live online and in-person sessions, documentation, webinars and videos. For practices that want additional billing assistance, TriMed also offers revenue cycle management services, including claims management, payment posting and denial follow-up.
