What is PertexaIQ?

Radekal is an electronic health record (EHR/EMR) solution designed to streamline the process of recording patient examinations and automatically generate history & physical examination (H&P) notes. The system can be used by Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), medical practices, clinics, and hospitals, and solutions are available for a range of specialties, including Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Chiropractic, and Primary Care.

Key benefits of using PertexaIQ

  • Users can complete the physical exam documentation with a single tap for a pertinent positive, double tap for a pertinent negative, upwards swipe to mark all parts of the physical exam positive, downwards swipe to mark all parts of the review of systems (ROS) negative, and interactive anatomical diagrams to identify the affected areas.

  • Annotations can be added during the exam or on the final note, and users can dictate annotations if they are using a tablet device.

  • Complete history and physical examination (H&P) notes are generated automatically, including all information on patient details, chief complaints, history of present illness, review of systems (ROS), Past, Medical, Family, and Social History (PMFSHx), active medications, allergies, physical exam and vital signs, assessment (diagnosis), lab orders, prescriptions, evaluation and management (E&M) codes, and counseling time.

  • History and physical examination notes and prescriptions can be signed electronically, and users are automatically alerted before signing if the Medical Decision Making (MDM) section has not been completed.

  • A ‘hot list’ can be set up to give users easy access to commonly prescribed medications with prefilled information on the strength, dosage, frequency and interval, and duration of treatment.

    Pros
Easy to learn and The support is very handy. The one page training manual was a brilliant touch,I was maneuvering through the system easier then my new iPhone lol.
I was amazed when I saw Radekal. It is a great example of an EHR/Productivity Technology Tool.
The ease of writing notes is the winner for this vendor.
    Cons
They cut me off and did not finish the billing process. I still have $11,000 of uncollected claims that they refuse to finish.
My revenue doubled doing the same work for the same number of patients. This company almost financially ruined me.
We foolishly moved forward on the set-up and first month's charges, only then to discover that the Mac-compatibility is through a Windows operating system from a remote desktop.

    Billing work horse

    Reviewed 8 years ago

I have been using this product for over 5 years and it has never let me down. It is not free or cheap but gets the job done right and fast the first time. I have found the FREE cost's me money and CHEAP is cheap for a reason.

    Pros

Easy to learn and use and works every time. Support rarely needed but is there when I need it. Very affordable for what you get!

    Cons

Not fancy but works every time.

    Best of the Bunch

    Reviewed 8 years ago

I have seen100's of EHR's and used many. I was amazed when I saw Radekal. It is a great example of an EHR/Productivity Technology Tool. With more than 4,000 drill down anatomic diagrams linked to diagnostic algorithms, this leads the provider and engages the patients through an expedited clinical encounter. It markedly speeds up the clinical visit easily by 30%, has the visit fully documented, and is coded at the highest audit proof levels in real time, ready for me to sign off. This allows me to concentrate on the patient, see and spend more time with the patients, and not have my head buried in a computer.

    Terrible bililng

    Reviewed 10 months ago

Terrible. Lots of unkept promises. The only thing they had going for them was the EMR, which wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination.

    Pros

The EMR was easy to use from the provider's side. It built the note for you which was good.

    Cons

The billing team cost me a lot of money. I moved over to a different biller that knows how billing works in Florida. My revenue doubled doing the same work for the same number of patients. This company almost financially ruined me. The ownership acted like I was the problem. They cut me off and did not finish the billing process. I still have $11,000 of uncollected claims that they refuse to finish.

The Product the Industry has been Looking For

    Reviewed 8 years ago

I was on my 3rd EMR and I hated all of them, I was asked to see Radekal by my wife. The moment I saw it, I could see the productivity gains immediately - this is amazing! I have a passion for rural health and could see how this adopted into telemedicine could change the way we bring greater medical access and care to the rural communities. An excellent product and now with RoboRITA, their telemedicine offering, the combination is just what the industry has been crying out for.
