What is Kin HR?
Kin is easy-to-use and implement and includes features like an employee directory, time-off tracking, file management with eSignatures, new hire onboarding, and employee performance reviews. Kin runs in all modern browsers, so there's nothing to install. Likewise, Kin's pricing is per-user, and there are no contracts required to start using it.
Kin's employee directory enables you to see all of your employees at a glance, and create filters like Job Titles and Work Groups to better organize your employees. Employees and Managers can use these filters to see the employees they work with most.
Kin enables HR Managers to create custom time-off policies to suit your needs. You can create as many policies as needed in Kin, with unlimited, up-front, and accrual-type of policies available. Kin enables you to customize the amount of time given in the policy, when it renews each year, carry over from year to year, and more. Kin also allows you to customize company holidays, which can be applied to time-off policies.
An employee is able to access their time off through their profile and see all of their time-off details. Kin's time-off is very transparent, allowing the employee to make informed decisions before requesting time off. They can see their policy details, as well as any other employees who are out on that day, plus holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or company events. This is meant to cut down on questions surrounding time-off by empowering the employee with information.
HR Managers can easily upload files to Kin and share them with any employee, including new hires. Files can be configured with 3 completion requirements: none, manual completion, or digital completion right through Kin. eSignature documents can be quickly configured to include text boxes, signature dates, check boxes, and more, allowing for any file to be made into a digital file with Kin's integrated tool. Digital files in Kin serve as official eSignature documents, and will have an audit trail once they've been completed.
Kin enables new hires to get to know your company, complete tasks, and sign files easily, in one place. HR Managers can configure onboarding tasks, which serve as a repeatable checklist each time a new hire gets started.
Kin enables Employees, Managers, and HR Managers to enter and update employee objectives, allowing for all three users to participate in objective setting so that they're aligned with business goals and areas of improvement. Employees can access their objectives at any time, making it easy for them to update progress and be sure they're working against their objectives.
Kin's employee performance reviews can help your team understand how they're progressing. Employee performance reviews can be conducted on any timeline, allowing feedback to be delivered in a timely manner resulting in better employee performance.
