The UI is very intuitive and I love that we are able to get a sense for how employees feel about certain aspects. It allows us a greater view into what we need to improve as an organization.
Users complain about the lack of reporting options, citing data export and report customization as examples.
As a not for profit I also love that it provides a fantastic survey platform for a fraction of the price- very rare to find these days.
The amount of time it takes for me to do this is ridiculous. Some of the new updates and features I don't think actually enhance the system.
Its easy to use, and customer support is amazing, it help you to organize your employees, you can design and it allow me to cross-index checking. I love because i can segment my workers.
Reporting is horrible- I can't export the data in a user friendly approach to present for leaders. The system is more designed to be interactive then produce a information.

The many options available to the recipient of an award is very important and the user interface is operator friendly. Integration to our business processes was seamless.
The search functionality was horrible. At most, there was a browse feature.
This was a great experience, both in recognizing my peers and taking advantage of the recognition I have received.
The inability to select a specific size of product and the inability to see the feedback scores (i.e. from Amazon) - feedback scores drive my decision making 100% of the time.
I love the ease of use and the simple layout of the site. It helps when you are overwhelmed and assists in making a clear choice.
They do have trouble differentiating between "recognize" and "nominate.
I click the reward, I hit send and it arrives so quickly. The ease and simplicity of navigation is outstanding.
However, our reps have gone above and beyond to walk me through things when I have problems.

It's awesome to see staff being publicly recognized for things that might have gone unnoticed prior to implementing Kazoo, and they are encouraged since they're being rewarded for it.
We remain disappointed with analytics. There have been improvements, but reports are not intuitive or customizable.
The customer service I get from them is awesome, they are always eager to help me use the tool better, introduce new features, and make sure I'm getting the most out of my subscription.
The reports & dashboard options appear to be basic and limited.
I like that it's super easy to use and everyone's profiles are super easy to grab. When you want to reward a lot of people at once it's super easy to grab their names and reward them quickly.
The only downside to YouEarnedIt would be an internal one.
I absolutely love this software. I enjoy being able to give points to my coworkers when they've really helped me. I think it is a great way to boost morale around the company.
No one's voice is left behind. Work Tango provides us with analytics to measure ,track and action.

I love the recognition portion of Motivosity. This allows employees to give shout outs and recognition more than just verbally.
There are little to no parameters as to what is allowed to be commented on and this opened the door to futile and irrelevant comments to be passed.
I love how quick and easy it is to give a shout out to another colleague. It’s fun to see what everyone is sharing as well.
I dislike not being able to edit my posts, if I make a mistake.
Motivosity is a great way for me to recognize my direct reports, my peers, and my leaders. It is easy to use and fun.
The check-in function is very basic and can lead to misunderstanding if comments are not fully utilized.
The best part is that it makes recognition easy, and keeps it relevant and fresh. It also makes it public, so everyone in the company can hear about the great stuff my employees are doing.
We haven't started the feedback feature yet but we will soon and it sounds a bit intimidating.

All went very well and on the moments we needed help our consultant was always there to help. The software is easy to use and our users are very fond of the possibilities.
In addition, the adding of ratings is required yet pointless in how I have it setup. Finally the inability of an individual user to look up their history is annoying.
Long story short; Good software, great costumer service and still some room for improvement to stay on top of the game.
We were using the canned performance review process that our payroll company provided and were extremely unhappy with it's lack of flexibility.
I am VERY pleased with our rep's professionalism, and knowledge about the Trakstar program. The way he guided us through the webinar was wonderful.
Bad - Horrible UI/UX that you will pay for over and over again.
Trakstar is allowing us both the structure and the freedom to tailor which is great. If there could be the ability to tailor for each employee reminders for the managers that would be great.
Customer service isn't really easily accessible, everything is learn--on-your-own and when the system was updated, we lost a lot of dated information about the usage of our system, which was critical.
The ability to customize the software to meet our needs has been a big plus. Customer support has always been very responsive and helpful.
Trakstar was by the far the best and most cost effective solution for our company. Our process before Trakstar was strictly a manual process that wasn't as meaningful a process as we wanted.
TrakStar helps us keep our organization as healthy as healthy as our patients. We highly recommend this system.
I have confidence in TrakStar and am happy with the customer support I have received.
What I like best about this software is that you don't have to set up separate processes for Goal Setting, Mid-Year, or Year-End. Your appraisal is one process that stays open all year long.
I loved that it can be customizable for feedback and performance review. It was straightforward on rating and writing comments on performance.
As an administrator, I love being able to log in as others in order to see what they're seeing - it makes my life easier.
It is quite easy for anyone to use. Even if you aren’t familiar with it or you are having any difficulty in using it, there are videos for guidance.
The implementation, training and integration process was very simple. The system is easy to use, both on a user side and administrative side.
Because we felt confident in the system, we made the decision to further extend our use of Trakstar and integrate our Competency Framework (via Job Families) into every persons appraisal.

In addition, the adding of ratings is required yet pointless in how I have it setup. Finally the inability of an individual user to look up their history is annoying.

Sometimes I get confused if it was delivered or not.
It's easy to use and has so many fun backgrounds and gifs to really enable the sender to make their greeting creative and fun.
One person complained that they had to make an account to sign the board (I havent confirmed if thats a requirement).
I love that you are able to make personalized messages with ease and that it is pretty user friendly. Customer Service has been TERRIFIC.
Even a naive person would be able to navigate through the features.
I love everything about this platform...very user friendly and intuitive. I also love how easy it is to send out an e-mail and have my co-workers contribute to the board that I have created.
Not able to customize backgrounds. It has limited backgrounds.
Our office has been working remotely due to COVID. The Kudoboard is a great way to send love to staff who are celebrating birthdays and special occasions.
Its a great way to stay connected and bring interaction within the team especially in today's virtual world. It has provided a platform to bring teams and colleagues together in fun and exciting ways.

But lack of student authentication leaves me no choice but to find another platform elsewhere. Stubborn developers dont think its important.
They have constantly improved the platform and have gone the extra mile to help make our school successful with professional development offerings. We couldn't be more happy with our LMS selection.
They are aware of the problem and said it was forwarded to the development team but no solution has come about.

There is no live chat or individual tagging function, but this is in development.
Overall a good experience, replacing our very old and tired intranet with a much more modern look and feel and a good level of functionality out of the box.

The flows are not optimised, UI is ugly, it seems that Leapsome itself doesn't use this app or these "improvements" are too low in their priorities list.
Something very interesting for me is that in addition of being a super LMS, thank to Leapsome we can organize meetings and periodical reviews and launch surveys across the company.
There are not many negatives to report, but it seems that Leapsome integrates with a limited number of programs, which is a hindrance to using it for more functions.
Super easy to use software, that was easily adapted by all employees. Definitely helped the overall company morale in sharing positive feedback and praise for one another.
It felt strange that as a forward-thinking software company, we were using outdated methods for our internal processes.
There is good communication between the assigned contact partner, that is always willing to share best practices. I really like the Leapsome content (I enjoy the blog!), their philosophy and mission.
But we also found it difficult to standardise processes within our unique company structure.
Our experience with Leapsome has been excellent. The launch and rollout of the platform was really straightforward thanks to the Personio integration and the easy to follow set up guides.
Overall experience with Leapsome have been amazing, with the help of leapsome we are able to centralise all the performance management goal setting and are also able to automate it to a large extent.
Help text and clear permission explanations throughout the modules. Customer Succes and Support Teams are fantastic.

For now I could not be able to find anything to dislike about this platform. Maybe if you have integrated with Slack, notifications can be very annoying if you have notifications on for that channel.
This is such an amazing tool to have your employees feel incentivized and acknowledged. M, in my personal life, a huge gamer, so this kind of is like a real life Achievement counter.
Its too easy to abuse and give out bonuses for stupid reasons.
It awesome how Bonusly helps to create awesome office environment with proper peer-recognition in a fun way. I also like that it integrates well with Slack.
Don't think you should loose the points you don't use at the end of the month.
I feel like bonusly give's coworkers a chance to interact with one another while on the clock at work, kind of could send a quick fun message along with some points to make someone smile.

The software is clean and simple and serves as a great resource for company information, coworker contacts, and a comprehensive company calendar outlining anniversaries, birthdays, and days off.
Some of the updates would cause havoc on the system and delay some of our onboarding.
I hadn't used it until my current company and I am really happy to be able to utilize it. There are so many great features and I love it.
The only con I have noticed is from guys in HR complaining that it does not provide in-house payroll management.
BambooHR has some great integrations (Slack, for instance) that allow me to see when my co-workers are out of the office or even celebrating an anniversary or birthday.
At times I struggle with the signing portion of documents.
Great customer service, easy to navigate user platform and mobile app, love that it includes things like ENPS scores.
When we first got it, I would say its lack of payroll integration, but it's since integrated TRAX payroll with the software, which our accounting team is now switching to.
We have become very dependent on this, the mobile app and the website are both great benefits to our employees.

We have apps so need better tool. And terrible biz practice trying to scam more money from customers.

You are not able to clone guides across multiple instances, which is a bit of a pain when trying to push the same message to a few audiences.
We have actually tried to model some of our onboarding behaviors after Pendo's onboarding process, it was that good. I have always had great experiences with asking questions of the support staff.
We try to gather info from these elements but the only options seem to be screenshots or accessing the limited info available in CSV download.
We're able to get fantastic insights about who uses our product, why, and how. It allows us to make effective decisions on which features to dig deeper into, and which to scrap.
The search function for account names is limited.
It is a significant investment, but so many benefits, it is worth it.

If I had to name one thing, it would be the inability to have video chats within the software.
