ATS that cares about people.
Switched from a no-reporting ATS to Lever and it has been such a wonderful experience so far. The whole tool is built with candidates and candidate experience in mind. I honestly cannot imagine going back to how we used to work. Working with candidate profiles is intuitive and fast - especially with the newest feature CV Review. The Chrome extension makes sourcing on Linkedin a breezy. Our account manager during closing the deal was absolutely lovely - she was a great support in pitching the proposal to the business and getting us the best price we could afford. Thanks, Lo!
I'm gonna have to say customer support. Issues are rarely resolved on the first try - they also work US hours only which makes it really hard to fix critical issues on day 1. Lately there have been more issues with the platform than before. Though Lever sent an email about it, why it happened and how they will ensure it doesn't repeat in the future.

Great customer service, very reliable ATS
The tag system, candidate stages, and email templates are excellent. Really all the features are great. I look forward to being able to customize the candidate stages & archive reasons, which is coming soon.
I don't like that candidate stages & archive reasons are currently not customizable. I also hope they keep the legacy reporting tools as well as their new data dashboards, because I find the legacy tools helpful.

Phil Golding... Quick to respond and quicker to resolve. I could not have asked for a better implementation partner.
Outstanding UI Easy integration with GSuite Live reporting that is very well done The best support staff I have had the pleasure of working with.
It is an ATS, so take that for what you will. Any Con that I would have for Lever would be nitpicking. I have gone through the ATS shopping process for a few clients now and they all are frustrating, but Lever is hands down the best option for a stress free ATS.

It’s easy to use, has some great native ats features, such as resume parsing.

It is an okay ATS but there are definitely better other options.
I liked the ease of scheduling espeically when for engineering onsites which tend to have 4-5 back to back slots that it updated with ease.
The UI and the initutivieness of this ATS was not as great as I would want it to be.

Incredibly easy UI that leads to one of the best ATS processes I've ever used.
It can be a bit complicated if managing multiple hirings at once but once you get the hang it is manageable.

Its a good ATS system overall and great with our recruitment efforts.
I really enjoy how easy it is to schedule interviews with people on your team, communication management and relative easy that you manage the candidate process with.
I think Lever is a decent software overall, but sometimes syncing can be an issue. Also, calendar sync can be an issue as well as mass mailings...

Lever is very user friendly, intuitive, well laid out, drag and drop resume feature handy, outlook integration is awesome for email and scheduling
reading through interview feedback a bit time consuming - still working on getting clean data for reporting

Easy to configure and use recruitment workflow. Implementation partner (Phil) was excellent guiding us through the whole process.
The integrations with 3rd party job boards (ex. LinkedIn, Glassdoor) are not instant. The switch from our old ATS to new did not refresh our jobs on other boards, and (for 2 days and counting), users are still being directed to our decommissioned ATS.

Lever perfectly balances an intuitive UI and customization to provide the most robust Cloud ATS out there.
Lever can be a bit daunting for new users. However, their customer success team is very attentive and committed to helping customers unlock the potential of the product.

Love LEVER! It is an amazing ATS for our company. The software is organized and easy to use!
CUSTOMER SERVICE: horrible! There is NO phone service available for the customer service team, and that is insane. When asked why... The rep let me know they are "too busy now" to speak on the phone.

Overall, a good upgrade from our previous ATS, Workable consider pricing and automation + ease of use.
I like how simple and sleek & modern the UI is. The candidate dashboard is easy to track and review, you can see everything about the candidate's application in just one page or view. I also like how automated and customizable the platform is when it comes to adjusting the funnel accordingly. You can also post and duplicate job postings in just a few easy steps.
Lever's Applicant Tracking & Candidate Management feature or dashboard is simple though would like for the view to have more filters so I can review per filter (e.g. date ranges, location, etc.) and not just per job posting. Customer support has been consistently quick to respond from the start though would have liked more hands-on support in onboarding; it's mostly self-onboarding and integration.

We didn't have a good ATS prior to Lever, so this is solving every possible problem.
Lever is a fantastic ATS for growing companies looking for a more robust system. The add-on of Nurture helps support talent acquisition, which is a differentiator in the ATS market. Lever makes it super easy to schedule interviews, create feedback forms (and make sure they're filled out), etc. It helps keep everyone accountable on all sides. The onboarding was quick and easy (shout out to Rain!).

Overall, Lever has been a user friendly ATS system that has helped us in our recruiting needs.
The thing that I like most about Lever is that it allows us easily track our candidates through a customized pipeline that we made.
One thing that is a con is that you can't have customized accesses. This would be beneficial in several different circumstances in our business.

Lever was not my favorite ATS to use. It was easy to miss a step with a candidate.
I liked that Lever was applicant-focused, as opposed to requisition-focused. It was simple to keep track of which applicant was at which stage.
There were not many functionalities for reporting and analytics, therefore our data was lacking. Hiring Managers did not enjoy the functionalities.

Super simple, clean ATS. Tons of functionality beyond just the obvious tracking/rating features. And they've got a great support team, whenever I submit an issue/bug/request I usually have a response in about an hour, and they will customize your ATS according to your needs.

We needed a way to track our candidates and Lever was able to deliver that for us.
Easy to use and reliable for applicant tracking. Collaborative tools were helpful and straightforward to use.
I found it lacked a few additional features I was used to from other ATS options but overall it was quite strong.

- Communication is mainly done via email. We are a rapidly growing company and sometimes hopping on the phone is much easier for us. - Some technical issues with Lever, which is common with many ATS. - The ATS is very time consuming and needs much follow-up. - Doesn't integrate with our payroll software (Paylocity).

Overall we're really really happy with Lever. It's a huge improvement to our last ATS and will be critical in our next stage of growth. It's really a well-designed system.
Our company operates similarily to a recruiting agency, which means we tend to hire for the same job on an ongoing basis, as opposed to hiring one or two candidates, then closing the job. Because of this, Lever helped us understand that we need a candidate-centric ATS, as opposed to a job centric ATS. This is a critical distinction when evaluating ATS, and is why we selected Lever over other systems....
The reporting can be a little hard to understand at times. It doesn't have a direct integration with indeed, zip recruiter, or other job boards, so job distribution isn't as good as our last system (workable). But we're making it work.

Overall, it’s a great product. I’ve used a lot of ATS systems and Lever is by far the best.
The interface makes it easy to take notes while doing an interview and provides all the relevant information (Resume, LinkedIn, previous notes) in an easy to access way.
Keeping track of multiple interviewee’s as an interviewer can get confusing because there are a couple of different pages that I’m viewing the in process candidates and who I’m interviewing and past interviews.

Once you really stare at it a bit, it's very easy to use. I would compare it to being the Apple of ATS.
It's still in progress. There are some things that don't immediately make sense when using it. Sometimes I wonder if it's too simple? I do like that Lever is actively working on adding new features.
