What is Novagems?Novagems is a workforce management software that helps businesses manage and track activities of security guards. Managers can monitor the locations of guards across multiple sites using geo-fencing, GPS tracking, barcoding, and NFC code scanning capabilities.
Novagems' incident reporting tool allows employees to create incident tickets with details, such as date, time, incident type, location, victim information, suspect details, and relevant images. The back-office management module enables managers to track guards’ attendance, create site tour routes, and generate timesheets. The scheduling functionality uses red yellow green (RYG) indicators to color-code and monitor guards’ schedules, shifts, and task progress across several locations. With the visitor registration module, users can maintain a visitor log consisting of check-ins, check-outs, and visitor details, such as name, phone number, ID number, address, and purpose of visit.
Novagems facilitates integration with several third-party human resource (HR) planning solutions. The built-in panic button allows employees to call emergency services, managers, or site supervisors directly from the system. It also lets security guards generate tour reports with time-stamps, comments, images, and text messages.
