Pros

Overall a very good and intuitive rental program at an affordable price with great support.
Useful and super helpful product for organizing the rental services we offer in our shop.
The backend calendar and inventory management is a delight to work with and the payment integration with Stripe is seamless.

Pros

It also has good flexibility for making up orders. The company is great to work with - their support is excellent and they listen well to improvement requests.
Our onboarding specialist is amazing and she has done an awesome job with helping us get everything up and running.
Excellent Customer Service, very open to help, reply back when you ask about a problem is super fast. System is very friendly.

Cons

We hate losing a small piece that may cost $1000 or more and we didn't have it barcoded in separately on a check out. Also it has a hard time integrating with Quickbooks and other accounting software.
So far that is my main complaint. It is only designs for a brick and mortar shop when so many rental shops are online now.
It runs next to our online store, so you see 2 shopping baskets on the page which is sometimes confusing.

Cons

I think the worst part of the transition has been the pandemic and coordinating two teams.
If I could add any feature it would be automatic review capturing for google and Facebook. Other softwares can do this and filter out the bad ones.
The only downside is the reporting is a bit limited. I use Quickbooks desktop and I need to pull a lot of info manually to enter into quickbooks, because the reports can't export it all.

It made owning a business actually managable.

Great and the helpers are wonderful and answer lots of questions!

Pros

I have been always told that I would do a great job owning my own event company, however I knew owning a business would take a lot of work and I might not have a good plan to make it succeed. I was so excited to try Boogable and could have cried that it actually make it a reality. Now my only challenge is finding new places to organize all my rental items!

Cons

I just need to find time to learn more items. I wish discounts or coupons was available to use without the pro version. I wish there was a small amount of reporting offered, but will buy that platform after my business is up and running.

Affordable Solution with Webstore, Barcodes & Very Cool to Use

My experience has been excellent from setting it up, to processing orders & the service team is very responsive.

Pros

Online store was a must. There's very few affordable packages that do this so that really narrowed the field which is surprising because it's 2020 not 2005. It's very easy to use, looks modern, is easy to read & works the way you expect. Barcoding is a great feature. The Pro subscription has unlimited products & 5 users which is just right for our company. My warehouse manager loves it too. Support has been excellent & I was able to integrate it with my Wordpress site.

Cons

The only minor thing was that I was limited in what fields I could import & can't modify products in bulk but that's only an issue when you first set it up.

Great Lending-Library checkout system

Booqable has been easy to use, looks good, and has very helpful support.

Pros

The customer-side UX is very clean and adequately customizable. It was easy to import all of our rental equipment into the system. Also the trial was super helpful in getting things setup and seeing what it would look like before we actually committed. They even extended our trial when I was out sick for a week and couldn't get things finished up in time.

Cons

When publishing the Booqable site it seems to automatically attempt to promote it on search engines. This is likely a pro for people looking to increase business, but we have a free library only accessible by those who have completed a course with us, and do not want it out there for anyone else. We were able to embed the "preview" page into an iFrame on our website and get a working solution that looks good, but it is not an ideal setup. It would be nice if they had non-published and/or password-protected pages as an option.

We are a small AV events company that needed a streamlined rental tracking solution. I looked around and did several free trials and Booqable came out on top. The platform is very easy to use, and being cloud-based means we can use it in various locations with ease (we're based on the Gold Coast so we often like to take laptops to the beach to work!) There are features I'd love to have, but of course no software caters to everyone's needs, and Booqable is very reasonably priced. So the following aren't really cons, but just our dream additions to an already fantastic platform.
