I never used the platform because was pointless and I continued to work on both Airbnb and VRBO platforms and not VRBO since Lodigfy connection VRBO never worked.

This is a big issue we have received two very bad reviews on booking.com and our unit is not being received any new bookings since because the guest were upset that the messages were sent in English and not Spanish!

Often with 3rd party sites..messages do not come over to Lodgify misisng valuable and important communication from guests.

Ultimately the price plus the fees on each credit card transaction do not justify the usefulness for someone who has only one property like me. But the worst thing is that the company does not demonstrate honesty in advertising zero booking commissions and then applying them using another name and without this other commission being able to be read on the prices page if not by passing over another item with the mouse.

My main problem with this software was incorrect charges I received from Lodgify and the subsequent treatment I received by Lodgify customer service, where they failed to remedy their error.

I quickly found lots of software bugs that seemingly will never end as Airbnb and VRBO will never stop tweaking their web interfaces and cause future problems.

Overall, it is a simple, user friendly channel management software that enabled me to manage my listings across multiple channels, and also gave option to create my own website for the rental (which I did not).

Integration with Vrbo was too difficult. But that has since been solved and in truth the technical problems were the fault of Vrbo whose technology stack is a hodgepodge of old systems held together with sticky tape, the result of years of acquisitions and cobbled together integration.

The fact that Lodgify can manage my reservations and pricing across all apps is truly amazing and helps in me being able to have a full-time job and still efficiently manage.

Given the location of the property in Costa Rica, my payment options were limited and was not able to use the pay cleaner service.

The fact that it also includes my own direct booking website is a huge bonus and makes my business feel more professional while giving me more control.

Again, with the exception of a few minor reporting bugs and the lack of some (nice to have) features, Lodgify has delivered on all fronts.

Can be a little complicated to set rates up and also how you can’t edit any of the promotions within Lodgify

Subscription cost becomes more noticeable as I add properties, especially when I’m still scaling NamStay and watching margins closely.

Around 50% of bookings come direct, saving a tonne of commission fees that would otherwise go to Airbnb and Booking.com

It’s allowed us to build and control our own brand presence rather than relying entirely on OTAs.

Lag time exists on email correspondence I receive directly from airbnb to appear in the Lodgify system.

Cancellations and no-shows are killing me with no way to collect the cancellation penalties imposed by booking.com.

There is a learning curve, and some reporting tools could go deeper, but overall Lodgify has been a strong partner in helping us scale thoughtfully and professionally.

With Lodgify I was able to make a professional direct booking website for our gite in France.

I wish Lodgify could accept credit card payments directly for booking.com reservations.
