What is SingleOps?

SingleOps is an all-in-one business management solution for the green industry including tree care, lawn care, landscaping, and sod farms. The cloud-based solution provides tools for sales, operations, and field service, including customer management, estimating, billing and invoicing, inventory tracking, job scheduling, and more. SingleOps is designed to help field service businesses grow their sales, eliminate duplicate data entry, enhance their customer experience, and manage their day-to-day tasks entirely digitally.

Users can manage their sales with tools including a CRM system, estimating, job-site mapping, proposal generation, invoicing, and payment processing, and payments can be automated to recur on a predefined schedule. Management tools within SingleOps allow users to schedule their upcoming jobs, assign jobs to employees, track job-related purchases, and manage all costs related to jobs. Reports such as job profit margin reports and estimated costs compared with actual cost can be generated to monitor outgoing and incoming finances. SingleOps facilitates field workforce management with users able to access work orders, GPS maps, timesheets, and more whilst on-the-go from any mobile device.

As a CPA, I feel GL management is critical to our business to do financial analysis and to assess how we are operating. Without a GL integration, I believe it would be very difficult to manage a business successfully. However, there are some syncing issues that do require some attentiveness to ensure that the data does come across completely to rely on accurate financial data.

The SO/QB integration has been a game-changer for our AP department. We occasionally have invoices that don't sync properly or some paid invoices that will sync over multiple times, but those instances are not common. We just know that we need to review the information carefully to catch those instances, but it operates very smoothly most of the time.

We have 20 years of business in our quickbooks account that has to be used with singleops.

I'm an accountant along side my ownership of this company. We need to have better accounting software for government contracts and other financial breakdowns, so without this, we wouldn't be with SO.

We use QuickBooks for all our accounting. If SingleOps did not sync with it, we would need a different program.
