What is FreePBX Hosting?

FreePBX Hosting is a cloud-hosted, commercially developed and supported edition of FreePBX, which is an open source web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for managing the open source telephony engine software, Asterisk. FreePBX Hosting offers users the same features as FreePBX, with the option to add supplementary commercial modules to increase the available feature set, and without the need for on-premise hardware. Users can select from a range of VPS and dedicated servers to suit their cloud hosting requirements.

FreePBX Hosting provides users with basic features, including caller ID, softphone support, hold music, voicemail to email, automatic backups, unlimited interactive voice responses (IVRs), and call flow control, plus their SysAdmin Pro and End Point Manager modules as part of all hosting packages. Further modules can be purchased as one-year or 25-year licenses, and offer users additional feature sets, such as appointment reminders, voicemail notifications, call recording reports, faxing, automated broadcast dialing, customizable extension routing, outbound call limiting, and more.
