I started using GoDaddy Website Builder in November 2016. I use the personal package and at the beginning it seemed heavy and slow to update my website. After a few days, I contacted the Customer Support hotline and reported the problem. Fortunately, they eased the situation and I started experiencing better results. The website builder is of good quality. It has a lot of ready-made platforms to choose from, you can change the layout as many times as you wish. If you contact them, they will surely reply and solve any of your concern. As I paid a promo, this first year of use, a domain name, a firstname.lastname@example.org and a website builder, this is the best i could buy at such an affordable price.
1. I can make changes to my websites as many times as I want; 2. It has many themes to choose and feature a new brand website; 3. The Customer Support is effective 4. It has great offers with discounts for registered customers
1. The themes seem to be outdated; 2. Personal plan is very limited and seems to deny the use of tertiary free encryption services; 3. In the personal plan one cannot upload videos to the website.
Time used: Less than 6 months
Frequency of use: Weekly

They should allow the user to insert videos and pictures and only limit the storage capacity.

Disappeared! I'm not completely blaming them but they got my credit card and then we never heard from them again... in our busy world it would of been helpful to have a better follow up before the product expired! Why does it expire when you don't get what you pay for?
When opening my small business I wanted to keep my costs low. I decided to design my own website. Using GoDaddy, it was extremely easy. They had templates to choose from and I just plugged my info in. It costs me less and is well worth it!
This is great software if you are new to website design and like a drag-and-drop approach. It's simple and once you set up your site, it's easy to save and publish. As a web developer, I found it easy to train my non-profit organizations and their volunteers to use this. For more complicated websites, I found it limited and wish I had some more options (generally use wordpress) and that's my default goto. But for someone who knows nothing about web design and just needs a basic page up and running, this is a good fit.
Ok, did not find an easy entrance for first time builder, and upper end of development was challenging. Would like more templates to chose from to alleviate this step.
There are a lot of WYSiWYG editors out there, and this one feels a little more limited than most of the others. If your knowledge of web design is limited (or minimal) this might be right for you, but the problem with editors like this is that you can only do the sorts of things that they (in this case, GoDaddy) have pre-configured for you. ...and of course with enhanced "ease" comes a monthly cost. So, there's that.
Not great. I think they need to evolve a little bit. A few years ago they were top of the food chain. Now they are getting nudged out a little bit.
We first used GoDaddy Website builder for our store's website. It was a good launching point, but the templates were not able to be customized unless you paid a large fee to have them customize them for us. We ended up using a difference service in the end.
We initially used GoDaddy for our website building and we did not find it as easy to use. We also wished we could have had a few more options to make our website easier to navigate and more interactive.
