VDI platform for managing virtual desktops & applications4.0/5 (3 reviews)
Overall I like this product, recommend.
I genuinely like vmware tools for their design usability and functional combination. Horizon is one of them. It’s great tool for remote work, provides ability to connect to your virtual desktop at work or at university.
Sometimes connection drops without causes, at least in my home network.

I would go with cloud if want to be less trouble
if you are managing your own infrastructure then horizon is good .as part of your virtualization servers u can parallely work on desktops .not a big issue .saves some money when compared to amazon work space but efforts needs to be like upgrades patching etc ..
if you infra is low in memory cpu and storage .desktops will be slow and need to restart .huge investement for license windows vmware etc ..and support
Likelihood to recommend: 7/10
I enjoy using it for my everyday job, but don't enjoy having to log in several times just over a minimal hiccup in connection. Unlike other RDP sessions that attempt to reconnect.
It's your own person computer inside your computer, nothing complicated about it in comparison to other VMware.
Any hiccup in connection and there's no "trying to reconnect" you drop the whole session and have to do a sign in process again
