Firm Central is a cloud-based law practice software solution that centralizes data, documents and tools for managing firm activities and fulfilling client duties. Promising privacy and reliability, the service boasts 24/7 monitoring with continuous server uptime, encrypted data transmission and regular nightly backups. Optimized for access across all devices including tablet and smartphone, Firm Central ensures mobility and connectivity at anytime. From an intuitive online dashboard, features include case file and matter management for organizing contacts, tasks, notes, documents, communications and calendar events. Users can share information with colleagues and clients via web-based portal access and leverage full-text document indexing, with citation links to Westlaw and KeyCite flags automatically added to uploaded documents.
Firm Central’s Time & Billing software allows billable minutes to be tracked and recorded before generating invoices. Record keeping is simplified thanks to a built-in timer, pre-loaded ABA codes, LEDES 1998B Formatting and integration with QuickBooks Online for added accounting functions. The client portal then allows clients to securely view and settle outstanding invoices. In addition, the Deadline Assistant keeps track of important case deadlines and court dates with automatic updates, while Custom Forms and Westlaw Doc & Form Builder support the drafting of legal forms.
