I used Marketo briefly because we chose Marketing Cloud at the end of day mainly because MC is more user friendly. Marketo's feature is as powerful as other major email marketing automation tool and its customer support is good.

Our marketing team had a horrible experience after using Marketo for a year and switched to HubSpot. It was the best decision we have made and we are not using Marketo again.

Marketo Mayhem

Defininitely a good, robust marketing automation software. It's not as fancy and beautiful as Hubspot but the analytics and ability to track ROI of programs is valuable. They could do better with making their email templates less glitchy.

I've been using Marketo for over 2 years and have managed multiple instances, including implementing a new one. It's been great to learn and use. I came from HubSpot and although I loved HubSpot, it was limited in it's capabilities because things are locked down to look "pretty" and work more out-of-the-box. What I say is Marketo is for the "big kids"/enterprise/B2B market and HubSpot is more for the SMB market. Marketo also does well integrating with Salesforce, whereas HubSpot's API integration is very locked down and limited.

Can't go wrong with the best MAP - but you need to spend time getting it how you like it

A great MA platform!

I've used Pardot and Marketo, both are great business marketing tools. Hubspot I feel is a little more forward thinking... they seem to be making trends instead of catching up to them. The Hubspot creative interface is a little more convoluted than both Marketo or Pardot, but the integration features and list building prowess more than makes up for it.

The most interesting thing about HubSpot Hum, it has dedicated AD service options on various platforms like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc. It's a big way to connect with more people at less cost. and also have SMS options. It's a great point to use HubSpot Hub as a daily marketing driver.

While HubSpot may not offer some of the sex appeal and sophistication that Pardot or Marketo has, the value for the money can't be beat. Features are comparable to other marketing automation platforms and customer service is world class. I would recommend them.

Great bang for the buck

Besides their customer service being the best I've ever experienced, their tool is phenomenal.  We have our website, blog, social media & marketing automation within HubSpot and we have yet to be disappointed.  If you're thinking about Marketo or Pardot, don't. It's HubSpot, trust me
