As a new user, implementing the system has had a steep learning curve.  MasterControl employees have made that task infinitely easier.

Like many MC users, we started with doc control and training. This allows us to technologically link the two processes together. New revision to an SOP? Training automatedly is sent to users. Want to ensure training is complete before release? MC can delay the release until a specified amount of training is completed. MC also provides QEM solutions which can further support all other aspects of the QMS.

We have been using MasterControl since 2016 and since then we have NEVER received an Audit finding (neither by our ~global customers, nor any regulatory body like DQS, district government or even FDA).I feel secure and relaxed, knowing our quality documents are in a secure, validated system that I can access from anywhere, and that they sit in a system even our customers and the regulators themselves are utilizing!As a Pharma/MedTech logistics company, an electronic QMS system is a necessity and we are looking forward to utilizing more innovations with our imminent move to the MasterControl Cloud, especially because of the very promising AQEM solution!

Our updated versions make uploading documents super easy with import data templates, and we even include personalized help/training from our team. The QT9 QMS business model APPEARS to be continuous billing regardless of use.  They advertise the software as being supplied with unlimited continuous Training, but require Continuous Billing (regardless of available updates or use of their training platform).  We declined the subscription model, so when we did inquire about getting training activated (2 years later)  they insisted on BACK-DATING the subscription bill to the time when we started (and did not use their training).  Trying to get an explanation for why, within a standalone package we would be billed for services we did not use, was a ridiculous circle of gibberish.  In our experience, their software is not unique and provides little advantage over other platforms.

Before using QT9 data gathering and analysis was difficult at best.  Now we have the ability to analyze data in order to make real changes to the quality of our processes and products.

The Quality Management modules are excellent.  They are easy to use and understand.  Tech support to start learning the system is superior to any software company I have ever seen.  All the support is included in the price of the annual fee.

QT9 is a very solid and dense software that can be tailored to the needs of any business.  User access and admin controls are very deep and easy to use.  The module and workflows are plentiful, and while they can be intimidating to implement, once you dig in a really understand what the software features can do, the reward is high as the software is able to create and track so much.

Our company had no Quality Management System at all before QT9. Some of the employees were relucted to try something new, but all got on board when they saw how easy it was to use.

We have added lots of filter options for searching through documents and have added the ability to attach related files and interconnect modules together. We have also added the ability to setup training profiles for recurring training records to ease training. We are a tiny manufacturing company. Recent audits for a large and valuable customer have driven the need to develop our Quality Management System. QT9 was the only reasonably priced option that didn't make me pick upfront which handful of modules I might need. I still haven't started using everything QT9 has to offer but my CAPA and Customer Feedback programs are robust and well documented. The automatic emails to designated "Responsible Parties" seemed to really please my last auditor. I even use it for my Safety Incidents/Investigations.

QT9 has made a tremendous improvement in our ISO 13485 quality system.  The ability to link audits and non-conformances to corrective actions, documents and personnel to training records, and receive e-mail notifications of required actions truly automates our system.  The PM module has made it possible to quickly oversee the status of our maintenance function and ensure that PM's are completed on a timely basis.  We no longer need to fill up banker boxes with paper documentation.  Everything including history is located on a server that we can access from any PC at our facility, at home or on the road.
