NomaSign overview
What is NomaSign?
NomaSign is digital signing and e-signature software with certificate-based signatures that verify in Adobe, a REST API for automation, and an architecture that runs on the Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant you already have.
SIGNING AND SECURITY
- Sealed on send: a certifying PDF signature (DocMDP) locks the document before the first invite goes out, not after the last signature.
- Every signature is applied as its own sealed, timestamped PDF revision (PAdES), so the document's state at each step is preserved and tamper-evident.
- Adobe-trusted: the signing certificate chains to the Adobe Approved Trust List (AATL). Signed PDFs show "Signature Valid" in Acrobat with no setup by the recipient, and verification runs on the reader's machine, not on NomaSign's servers.
- Independent RFC 3161 trusted timestamps, and signing keys held in a FIPS 140-3 Level 3 HSM.
- Certificate-agnostic: with a certificate supplied by the signer or their organisation, signing can reach AeS or QeS assurance.
- Audit trail per signer: SHA-512 document hash, email OTP verification, IP address and device fingerprint.
- Legally valid under the ECT Act (South Africa), eIDAS (EU) and ESIGN/UETA (US).

- Documents are stored in your own OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive.
