MRI's fixed asset management software assists organizations across both the private and public sectors with FASB/GASB, GAAP, SOX and US Tax compliance. The solution is designed to help control, track, and record changes that occur during an asset’s lifetime, such as depreciation processing and forecasting.

MRI Asset4000 focuses on three main components. The first component consists of a central fixed asset register, which is a database and record of all assets and its events within a lifecycle.

The third component is asset tracking, which monitors the movements of assets and ensures that the register is kept up-to-date. It involves a regular process of system updating which can be done via mobile device.
