Pros

Super easy to use, powerful features, ability to invite guests for FREE, Great technical support, lots of video tutorials available.
ClickUp has some truly inspired design and feels lighter and more fun to use than many other management tools. It's easy to learn and new, useful features are consistently rolled out.
Great experience with the product initially I was a bit hesitant to use and recommend it because I did not know about the product at all but once I started using it I fell in love with it.

Pros

I love the integrated templates that help me quickly launch new projects or tasks. Also I can easily integrate information coming from my computer, internet or other apps, It just an amazing idea.
Organizing notes or dashboard is super easy and fun. The feature of creating a note into another note then linking it to a line in a note is really helpful and it helps you make wonder.
This is great for a shared list for people to have visibility on. It was great for our team to see what everyone was doing, add comments and notes to each other.

Cons

Too complex for an individual's needs, sometimes illogical, and a terrible android app is the icing on the cake.
After a few months I still get confused about the sapce/folder/list/task hierarchy and use the wrong terms when describing my "location" in the software.
Sometimes had an error when trying to make a new list and could not find any documentation about the error online.

Cons

The offline mode for Notion is frankly quite bad as you have to preload the pages when you have internet beforehand. Otherwise, your notes would be inaccessible.
Now that we use Notion, we're much more organized. The last program we used was boycotted by nearly half the team because of how difficult it was to navigate.
Notion changed my perception about the note taking apps. I use Notion mostly for organize my notes, preventing them from turning into mess.

Pros

The best alternative for Notion. It has all the features that the notion has along with project management.

Cons

Sometimes the UI breaks randomly. I edit a document, and it freezes but reverts back on its own. But its annoying in some cases.

this software has taken my life from literally being 'all over the place' to organized/efficient and focused! as a physician, I don't know much about operations, systems, agile, scrumb, etc... however, the webinars for clickup are like mini business management courses - the instructor explains everything extremely thorough! I've never experienced anything like this from a software company. I'm with clickup for the long haul! they rock!

Pros

how easy it was to learn and hit the ground running. i had notion previously and every time I looked at notion I became more and more confused.

Cons

it's hard to get your email inbox to zero because if you attach an email in clickup you still can't delete the email or it will delete from the attachment.

It has a lot of features. It allows automation which is very helpful for saving time creating tasks. It allows you to track time of employees and manage if you are overloading the employees. It provides a lot of views to better understand the project.

Cons

I think that the documents could use a lot more work. It feels far behind Notion in that regard.

Business tracking software with a very nice interface. It can integrate with the most popular applications on the market.

Pros

I came across it when I was looking for an alternative to notion, which I couldn't warm up to, with google calendar integration for due dates. Clickup, on the other hand, has an enormous bi-directional google calendar sync. I managed to provide the remaining functionality at par with notion.

Cons

In the free version, it can't be used much because of too many ads. Other than that everything is very good.

The use of ClickUp is making the team more productive

Having the opportunity to upgrade to a plan with collaborative features is great news for me. Although there is a project management tool called Jira at work, I find that it is so bureaucratic that it is a welcome relief to use ClickUp to track my actual work hours. Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention how helpful the timer is.

Pros

Through the use of gantt charts and the distribution of team members' schedules, clickup facilitates work allocation, collaboration, and the timely completion of projects. When used with Google Docs, this technology makes process monitoring a breeze.

Cons

I found that ClickUp lacked a feature that allowed me to effortlessly hyperlink to individual documents, unlike competing apps like Notion.

Facile e veloce da usare sia da desktop che app. Altamente personalizzabile grazie alle viste. Io uso la pianificazione per Sprint settimanali che è già integrata in ClickUp, comodissima.

Cons

A volte se si eseguono aggiunte o modifiche ai task sono lente ad apparire (bisogna refreshare la pagina) o presentano bug.

Sophisticated But the Best Project Management Tool I've used

Having used Jira, Asana, and Notion I can say ClickUp stays on top of all these. Team members have enjoyed using it.

Pros

The main thing that made me move from Jira to Clickup is its flexibility. Different Projects have different workflows. With Clickup you can easily adapt. They have these modules which you can enable or disable for the project. It has all the tools necessary for project management.

Cons

It's a bit sophisticated with all the features it has. It doesn't support Epics which I really miss coming from Jira. Tried using the time management tool as well but it is too simple to make good use of it. Also, the desktop app doesn't update and I have to reload it all the time.

Clickup is a project management, planning and task management software which is very well done and has a low price. On the other hand, there is one aspect that is quite slow and the interface is not intuitive enough, but it can to be very helpful because it is well made and its customer service is accessible 24 hours a day

ClickUp is a good alternative to Notion but leaves a little less room for customization. On the other hand, when it comes to the collaborative aspect, ClickUp stands out

Cons

A rather confusing application to use: the implementation of drag and drop could be improved and a lot of icons are present, even if they do not always clearly indicate what they are for.

Pros

The vast set of options and tweaks that you can implement is amazing. The different views and settings within each view are great. The option to share a view with a link, and/or invite guests over to use the software with you is a great feature.

Cons

The mobile app loads quite slow, especially when trying to share a link to Clickup the load time is long and sometimes it fails to save the link. Notion does this better.

I am a big fan of Notion. In a recent colobration with one team on their project, I was introduced to ClickUp. It was great and simple to use even I never heard about it before.

Cons

The new AI function. I don't think it work well. It took too long to generate a task title which I don't think it matter a lot.

Overall, we love using Clickup. Managing tasks and documents has become easy with it. When you go deeper, you start discovering a lot of advance features.

Pros

Clickup has replaced Trello, Asana, Notion and our defect tracking tool. It's simple to setup and does a lot of things. We've also started using it's document management feature to store common team docs. It's super useful.

Cons

There is hardly anything to dislike. They add new features but it never feels bloated.

Fantastical!

I have tried with different similar tools like Trello, Asana, Notion... I have become stuck to this one since it is clean, direct, and I can start very fast from the begining of every day to be focused on my tasks.

Pros

It is very easy to use, and almost all the information you place in is easy to recover. You can see your plannification board very easily, allowing to customize it depending on different criteria like deadlines or a custom priority scheme you might have thought of.

Cons

Sometimes I miss the possibility of adapt the 'at a glance view' depending on a specific custom criteria I have placed in a quick manner, but after a couple of clicks you can cope with it.

I like that ClickUp is straightforward and does the job very well. It does no offer tons of possibilities such as Notion, for example, but to me this is a good aspect of ClickUp. It's simple and it should keep simple to customers who want a simple and effective tool

Pros

The UI and ease of use is incredible for such an inexpensive service. It seems that they test and improve little details constantly

Cons

So far nothing that bothers me. Maybe make it a little bit cleaner so you don't get lost in the UI, but I also love as it is hehe

the fact of not having all copy at notion also the fact of restricting the various projects in the form of spot is too ugly according to me it is not normal that to look at a film I must programmed other fact this software obliges the user to remain in a canvas or ideology

We accomplish what we have documented within our deadlines

Pros

The program has a structure that allows for the nesting of outcomes and tasks within overarching objectives and to include stated deliverables and due dates. The ability to create teams of people and assign tasks, subtasks or entire objects to individuals while in keeping the entire team notified.

Cons

It is not intuitive. We spend a lot of time stumbling around the system. While it is feature rich is it not mature. The criital features need to be more prevent and obvious. Also, the notion that you cannot click on a link in your email to get to the task in the application but instead goes to the web is barbaric.

So far I have a good experience, It's easy to use and to integrate with other applications.

Pros

1. Repetitive tasks 2. API to integrate through REST interfaces 3. Multiple views (Calendar, The new mind map, List) 4. Inbox 5. Goals Feature. However, I think I do not use it properly. 6. Easy to import from other applications.

Cons

1. Docs, I think this could be an integration with other services like Notion. 2. Automation. Beta version is really good, but I think that has a very limited free tier. 3. Mobile App is good enough but Iphone version has a lot of UX bugs and is not that easy to use. That's why I created my own integration to create Tasks more easily.

Easy to Use Task Management Tool - Very Solid

So far, so good!

Pros

How easy it is to setup and use, Clickup is very good when compared to other tools like Asana & Monday.com because of the amount of features it has for free, being able to have all your tasks in a format similar to Notion (Pages & etc.) or in a list format is very helpful, the integrations that Clickup has are very helpful too, I'm able to integrate Google Sheets files easily into the software or even transfer over entries and tasks from other softwares.

Cons

It can be a bit finicky when setting up, and you'll need to watch a video if you're using it for the first time, otherwise there will be a lot of features that you miss out on or you won't be using it correctly.

A little too perfect

Pros

ClickUp truly understands the need to pile information for a certain task in a single space and I enjoy the freedom of chatbox that can show the progress of each task. Being able to categorize things based on its progress is always a plus.

Cons

I do not like that there is too much categorization. Moreover, having to open up settings to customize task status markers is too much work. I prefer the Notion way of marking whether something is in progress, complete, or yet to do. I also do not like having to click for things constantly as I am writing a task and describing it. I like the freedom to type commands instead of having to reach for my mouse constantly.

My overall experience with ClickUp has been fantastic; I was looking for something unique that I could use for all of my projects. And I believe I've discovered it. ClickUp has made things very simple and quick. Saving documents is quick and accurate, and importing from external sites is simple and quick. It integrates with all of the major tools I use on a daily basis, such as Google Drive, Zoom, and others. All I have to say is that I enjoy using Clickup in my daily work life.

Pros

By combining all of the major project management and tracking softwares, such as trello, notion, and others, Clickup has effectively replaced them all. It has a lovely user interface and tabs that are simple to navigate. Many cool features that I use on a daily basis include keeping track of my daily tasks, taking notes on documents, and managing my marketing campaigns. It easily handles all of my demanding workload, and the best part is that I don't have to switch between different apps for each task; everything is in one place.

Cons

However, because Clickup has replaced all of the major softwares in terms of productivity and improved workflow, it can be difficult to navigate. Setting it up to meet your needs takes some time and can be confusing for new users. You must pay attention and discover each of the functions you require before you can begin. However, it isn't a game-breaker. Clickup is one of our favorite programs, and we use it for everything now.

Great. Been using it since before the pandemic for my business and others, and will continue for years to come.

Pros

ClickUp is flexible, powerful, and intuitive. When I think of what good software feels like, it's this. Tasks are easier to manage in ClickUp over Notion, and yet it keeps all the same docking features. All of the other PM tools lack the range ClickUp has of tools and capability. Don't like this UI, boom switch the views. Need more space for data, boom custom fields. Need these in another place, boom automations. It's so good, I've switched a few clients to clickup for their CRM because it's a better fit than most marketed CRM's.

Cons

It has a tendency to break, especially in app. There's still some UI bloat that slows down navigation. The base of almost everything being a "task" is unintuitive for some types of records, even though you can relabel. Sometimes things move slower than others. And the sales team has gotten harder to work with and get in touch as the product has matured

Freedom at last

I've tried all the tools out there...Emacs ORG mode, Trello, Basecamp, GitHub tasks, Notion, you name it. All of them felt like they were missing something. Some were too difficult to use and I spent more time fighting the software than I did performing real work. Some were extremely limited in terms of features, and others refused to let me think and plan the way I naturally do and insisted I adapt to their ideas. ClickUp lets me organize my life and my brain the way I want to without offering any resistance. I hope this innovation streak continues!

Pros

Innovative roadmap that keeps delivering useful features, solid documentation, plenty of integrations, public API, affordable pricing, recent growth into more of a knowledge management solution.

Cons

Up until the past few weeks I didn't feel like the product was polished enough that I would consider recommending it at work or using it professionally, but I now feel comfortable doing so!

Clickup will change your life!

Clickup has replaced the note taking of Evernote, the Kanban functionality of Trello, the deep organisation customisation of Notion and the GTD of Asana. The calendar integration and the subtask inclusion, as wells gaunt charts and details search functionality are all killer features that you have to pay a premium for on other apps. My whole production lives in Clickup and its absolutely amazing for a content creator like me to associate pieces of content and have all the appointments, show recording times and dates, subject, articles, videos and the notes for all of these all really cleverly integrated into one another. The Calendar to Kanban switch is really good for getting things done easily!

Pros

The amount of functionality this app gives the user who is able to invest time into creating their perfect setup is amazing. Whats more amazing is that you can start from scratch and within a really short time you can have all the features of the other top 5 project management tools at your fingertips.

Cons

It can be a small bit daunting at first glance but within 5 minutes you will feel comfortable and ready to use it.

Clickup is a gamechanger!

I tried quite a few products for task management and have never been totally satisfied with them. Trello was great for public boards, but it was too simple for my business. Meistertask was ok, but not great. We even tried Notion, which is great for note-taking, but not so great for Task Management. I tried Clickup and I'm not going to try anything else. It's the best of all worlds, and they recently allowed for public task sharing, which was the only benefit Trello previously had over Clickup. Because I always have Clickup open for Task management, I find myself using some of its other features all of the time like screen recording and screenshots. Overall, it's made my workflow better and my employee agrees.

Pros

I love that a lot of software today integrates well with other software, but sometimes it's nice to have everything all in one tool. While Clickup does integrate with tools, the reason I like it is because it's convenient to have everything I really need at my fingertips, while at the same time being easy to use. Even though the tools they offer aren't "new", they just make existing tools more convenient....

Cons

With anything there is room for improvement. I think Clickup's time tracking could improve. It works fine, but I personally like using Toggl for this. I can't really put my finger on why... it could be because I started with Toggl, but I think the reporting and ease-of-use of Toggl isn't quite there yet in Clickup. A couple other minor things: I wish that I could filter by task # when doing task management. It's possible I simply can't find this functionality, but for example when I integrate with Toggl or Github it would be nice to easily find that task in Clickup.

So Much More Potential

A lot of people still love Notion. I personally have decided not to renew my subscription once it expires, as I have chosen ClickUp for my daily planning and Emacs ORG mode for capturing ideas and taking notes. If Notion delivered the API, I might have stuck around. Until then, I have enough bloated Electron apps hogging all my memory.

Pros

This review would have been a lot more passionate six months ago. Don't get me wrong; Notion is still a great system and over half of my notes and plans are still stored in it. There's some really cool templates and the community is really enthusiastic.

Cons

I felt like the developers reached a plateau and Notion has failed to innovate as of late. I have been waiting for an API to be released the entire time I have been subscribed, and there are still no details. The "everything is a database" mindset seems really novel at first, but after a while, it becomes very limiting and I find that it takes too much time to set up the templates I desire. Sharing data is not easy unless everyone you are sharing knowledge with is a paying customer.
