Zoho projects - Makes it so easy to manage your projects

2018-12-07

I have tried another of similar products; MS Project (lack of collaboration), Basecamp (too expensive) and have found that Zoho offers all the functionality I need and some.

Pros

Integration between projects and Zoho modules Ease of use Ease of updates (via email etc.) Collaboration Generous basic plan offerings

Cons

Perhaps integration with Google Calendar or similar might be a good enhancement otherwise I am very happy

A Comprehensive Project Management Platform

2018-12-05

I have used a number of project management tools (Microsoft Project, Basecamp, Trello) and we are quite happy with Zoho Projects.

Pros

Zoho Projects offers a comprehensive suite of capabilities and allows a large distributed team to collaborate and manage a myriad of tasks.

Cons

The range of functions and capability means Zoho Projects does not have the ease of adoption of a Basecamp so there is more of a learning curve for you and your staff.

Easy to use, i think Basecamp is way better in areas of usability, design, ease of adoption than Zoho Projects.

Features and Interface

2016-12-14

One special little feature in Basecamp is the Catchup button, which takes you to a page summarizing the day's activity. It's a great way to quickly see what you might have missed while you were out of the office, or if you are pulled into a project midway through its development.

Cons

A similar level of service with Zoho Projects costs less (only $40 per month) for 50 projects and just as much space as what Basecamp allots (15GB).
