“Sometimes there is a bug where if you @ someone in your post, it won't let you hit enter into the next line, so we work around this by waiting until the whole post is written to tag someone's name, otherwise it can get very annoying, I hope that gets fixed soon.”

Once you disable these notifications, we felt that the software starts to lose its impact, our staff started to drift away from it over time and went back to other task tracking methods (such as trello) for different areas of the development.”
“I also do not like how there is not a way to remove someone from a certain notification from a task that they created, if a person creates a to-do, they are bound to receiving notifications and there is not a way to turn this off for specific to-dos.”

“The archiving system is a nightmare - impossible to find and pull up projects, you can't search by project, you can only search by a file name, and you can't sort your search - it's just a long list, and you'd better hope you were super consistent in naming your files if you ever want to find something again.”
“Some upload issues using mobile apps, and the search functionality is often slow and clunky with larger projects, so you just need to learn the quirks to make it work for you.”

    Limited layout customization

40% of reviewers feel negative about Basecamp's layout customization options. Users report that the platform lacks flexibility in terms of personalizing the interface, such as changing color schemes or adding company logos.
