What is Online Media Net?

apollon OMN (Online Media Net) is a modular Product Experience Management (PXM) platform developed in Germany. It combines Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Channel Management and Workflow Management in one web-based system.

PIM: import product data from ERP systems and supplier files, store it media-neutrally and enrich it with attributes, descriptions and media. Classifications, variants and data quality checks keep large assortments consistent; the Bulk Editor speeds up mass changes.

DAM: manage images, videos, documents and 3D content with metadata, tags, variants and versions. Assets are linked directly to products.

Channel Management: export profiles deliver channel-specific content to online shops, marketplaces and print. Database publishing with Adobe InDesign creates catalogs, price lists and data sheets.

Workflow Management: task lists and approval processes based on the BPMN standard (today Camunda, with OMN 7 CIB seven) coordinate work across all modules.

AI services: create and translate product texts and tag images automatically.

Integrations and security: REST API with OAuth via Keycloak, EAI import/export with mapping UI, connectors for Shopware, Shopify, CI HUB (Adobe and Office) and n8n. User and permission management controls access. OMN runs as SaaS hosted in Germany or on premises.

New with OMN 7 (from autumn 2026): the OMN Companion AI assistant and an MCP server that gives AI assistants controlled access to approved product data and assets.
