Ascend overview

Ascend is a cloud-based estimating solution which allows teams to collaborate on estimates in real time and distribute estimates through integrations with third party apps. The software offers a range of tools for estimating, quoting, proposal generation, signature capture, forecasting, and more.

Ascend enables real-time collaboration between globally-distributed teams, with live updates as any user is typing. Frequently used quotes and cost categories can be saved as templates, and customized before sending to customers. Target margins can be set at the organization level, and then decreased on increased for individual line items, cost categories, or quotes. Users can access full customer histories with details of all their estimates and quotes, and generate ballpark estimates to factor in any uncertainty.

Users can also create proposals in Ascend, with the ability to save and reuse document templates. Documents can also be imported from local, external, and cloud-based sources. A version history provides users with insight into all changes made to proposals and their acceptance status, and when proposals are sent digitally users can track when they were last viewed by the customer.
