What is CivicPlus Recreation Management?

CivicRec is a complete online solution for local government community parks and recreation departments. Powered by REC1, this parks and recreation management platform features tools for activity registration, facility management, and point-of-sale (POS) transactions, together with integrated capability for managing memberships, instructors, ticketing or organizing sports leagues.

CivicRec’s cloud-based recreation software allows citizens to view and search through a catalog of parks and recreation programs and events as well as register and pay online for them. It also enables citizens to search for and reserve community facilities, such as meeting rooms, shelters, pavilions, etc. even from a smartphone or tablet.

CivicRec’s recreation management software can create, sell, and scan barcoded tickets for online or in-house events, which can be either printed or displayed on the citizen’s smartphone and scanned by the staff from their mobile device or desktop. CivicRec’s built-in enterprise level point-of-sale (POS) system allows administrators to process a registration, sell merchandise, or book a facility in the POS screen.
