Alloy overview

What is Alloy?

Alloy is a demand and inventory intelligence platform designed for consumer packaged goods brands and consumer goods manufacturers. The platform consolidates point of sale data, inventory information, and supply chain metrics from multiple internal and external sources into a unified analytical environment. It serves consumer brands in industries such as electronics, food and beverage, home goods, home improvement, office supplies, and general consumer goods. The solution addresses data management challenges faced by brands selling through retail channels, third party logistics providers, distributors, and e commerce platforms by providing real time visibility into sales performance, inventory positioning, and supply chain operations.

The platform centers on data integration, normalization, analysis, and prediction capabilities. Alloy connects to hundreds of data sources including retailers, ecommerce platforms, third party logistics providers, distributors, and enterprise resource planning systems. The platform automatically ingests and normalizes disparate data formats into a standardized view. Sales and performance analysis features include real time trend reporting across channels, identification of lost sales due to out of stock situations, AI powered insight surfacing critical week to week business changes, and store and SKU level forecasting based on current demand patterns. Inventory management capabilities include visibility across the supply chain, warehouse stock risk alerts, allocation insights, excess inventory identification, and AI driven replenishment recommendations to address low in stock rates. Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms support improved planning accuracy, simulate future scenarios to prevent stock imbalances, and extract actionable insights from complex datasets. The Lens AI Analyst feature enables natural language queries and allows users to run analyses on sales, inventory health, supply chain performance, and forecast accuracy without manual spreadsheet manipulation.

Alloy supports extensive third party integrations through both pre built connectors and API capabilities. The platform integrates with data warehouses, data lakes, business intelligence and analytics applications, and demand planning solutions. Users can analyze data within the Alloy environment or route normalized data to downstream systems for further processing. Data destination integrations allow processed data pipelines from point of sale systems to data warehouses and BI applications. The integration framework automatically translates partner definitions of time periods, locations, units of measure, and other dimensions to eliminate manual reconciliation. API support enables custom integration development for proprietary systems or specialized data sources.

Alloy provides configurable dashboards, automated reporting workflows, and customizable analytics views tailored to the needs of sales and marketing, supply chain operations, executive leadership, and IT and analytics teams. The platform maintains SOC two Type two certification and compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations. All data flows are protected by end to end encryption and role based access controls to support data governance and security requirements.
