During my work as CIO we've evaluated a few aPaaS platforms, including Betty Blocks. Betty Blocks is a relative small player within the aPaaS-market, but greatly outperforms giants as Mendix and Outsystems. Overall UX is far better than Mendix for example, which still looks like a old Java IDE from 90's. When building with Betty Blocks, there is no need for deploying your apps. This means that you could dev something, and test it rightaway. Pricing is also superior. Mendix and Outsystems start at a tenfold of that, and are not worth it. We've made a great choice with going all out with the Betty Blocks-platform, we also stopped all PoC's and development on Mendix. Betty is our way of devving now!
- Fully webbased - No deployment needed, fast iterations - relatively cheap - easy learning curve, just one day of training needed
- My team found a glitch or two, however fixed by the team with days/weeks. - Has no external funding, could be a risk. We've still went for BB since they now have over 200 customers, feels like a sure thing and that they'r here for the long haul.
Hi Peter, Thank you for your nice review. We appreciate the feedback! Best regards, Betty Blocks

Really easy and quick for a non-developer to pick up. Dare I say - fun to use. Great for innovating quickly, trialling new ideas, and validation.
Nothing really comes to mind right now. Obviously as this movement matures, one can hope things get even better, like documentation, general market knowledge and having even better standards.

Overall lovely people - brilliant potential. We will be looking again in the future when knowledge and support improves
We really bought into the concept of no code. We were truly really excited about the prospect. The potential here for the future is huge and I certainly will be looking at Betty Blocks again in the future.
Despite claims during the demo and sales process that anyone can build anything on the platform, once we got going we found that actually the reality was very different. When we ran into technical difficulties, we did not receive answers to our issues and instead were sent help articles to different issues. We had to wait for days to get the sales people back on a call and during the call they were unable to solve our (relatively simple) problem, we even got the blame as we were told we hadnt had the full demo - I said ok what exactly on the demo can you show me that will help me with this?! Still no satisfactory answers Im afraid

Betty blocks is easy to use and effective, though a small player in apaas market betty blocks lives upto the competition.
Needs a lot of improvement, some bugs can get really annoying but customer support is fast and superior
