Crew Active overview

What is Crew Active?

Crew Active is scheduling and time tracking software for service companies whose staff work at a different site every day: commercial cleaning, landscaping and winter service, construction, rail construction and home care. It replaces Excel rosters, paper timesheets and WhatsApp groups.

Scheduling

- Drag and drop calendar and a planning board with staff, vehicles, machines and accommodation as rows

- Recurring jobs and fixed routes, planned four weeks ahead

- Automatic warnings for double bookings, too many weekly hours and staff who marked themselves unavailable

- Job requests that selected staff accept or decline

Time tracking

- Start, break and stop in the iOS and Android app or in the browser

- GPS location and measured accuracy recorded with each booking, exportable as a PDF proof with map

- Offline clock-in, synced when the connection is back

- Automatic break deduction (30 minutes after 6 hours, 45 minutes after 9 hours)

- Target hours per weekday, overtime balance and time off in lieu

Absence and staff

- Leave requests with approval, remaining leave pro rata from start date, sick notes

- Payslips and other documents delivered to the app

- App in German, English, Italian, Romanian and Turkish, chosen by each employee

Customers and reports

- Customers with several addresses, own hourly rate per customer, billing proposal per customer as PDF

- Reports per employee and per customer as Excel or PDF

- Map of running jobs and planned routes

Communication
