Resort Manager overview
What is Resort Manager?
Resort Manager is a property management system for hotels, resorts and villas, installed on the property's own server rather than hosted remotely.
It covers reservations, front desk, point of sale, stock control, accounts, guest relations and reporting in one system. A property that adds a restaurant, a spa, or a shop brings it into the same system, rather than adding separate software and a nightly reconciliation. Mixed inventory is supported, so rooms, bungalows and villas can be managed side by side.
Two editions are available: Resort Manager and Resort Manager Lite for properties needing less functionality.
Distribution runs through a channel manager, SiteMinder being the most commonly requested. The software is available in English, Indonesian, and Thai, and additional languages can be added on request.
Operational issues are supported 24 hours a day from the Asia-Pacific region, with other requests answered from 09:00 to 18:00 GMT+8. Installation and training are included with any modular package. The same team designs and installs the network and server infrastructure the system runs on, which matters on properties where the software and the hardware are hard to separate.
Resort Manager was released in 2009, and some of the first properties to install it are still running it.
