Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Zuuna overview
What is Zuuna?
Zuuna is a project management tool built for teams that ship software — and for anyone who wants their data to stay in the EU. It is the developer-friendly alternative to Jira, Trello and Monday: modern boards, sprints and delivery tracking, hosted in Germany and GDPR-compliant, so your work never has to leave Europe.
At its core, Zuuna is a fast, visual work manager. Plan on Kanban boards where you drag colour-coded cards across the columns your team defines, and switch any board to a list (spreadsheet) view or a calendar view in a single click. Filter and group work by assignee, epic, priority or type, save any filter and layout as a named tab, and rename fields to match the language your team actually uses. Every card carries what a task really needs — a rich description, checklists, comments, attachments, custom fields, due dates, story points and multiple assignees.
For teams working in sprints, Zuuna covers the whole agile loop in one place. Keep a backlog, estimate together with built-in planning poker, run time-boxed sprints with a burndown, and group shipped work into releases. There is no second tool to buy and no integration to keep alive.
And you work together in real time: when a teammate moves a card or updates a detail, everyone watching the board sees it instantly, so there is no refreshing and no stepping on each other. As your workspace grows, keep it tidy — group related boards into nested folders in the sidebar, keep a board private to you, open it to your whole group, or hand out view-only access that cannot be edited by accident.
What sets Zuuna apart is how close it sits to your code. Connect your Git provider — GitHub, GitLab or Gitea — and link commits, branches and pull requests directly to the cards they belong to. The built-in Code Graph then shows delivery as it really happened: the release spine, what merged, and exactly which work each release contains. Open any card and its development panel lists the branches, commits and pull requests linked to it, so the state of the work and the state of the code are never out of sync. Round it out with a full REST API, a command-line tool and outbound webhooks, so Zuuna fits the toolchain you already have instead of replacing it.
Zuuna also handles the everyday around the work. Track time against cards and roll it into reports for billing or capacity planning. Keep specs, notes and documentation in built-in Documents, right next to the boards they describe. Sync scheduled cards two-way with Google, Outlook or Apple calendars, and use time-blocking to plan your week. Automate routine board moves so status changes and hand-offs happen on their own.
For companies, administration and security are built in, not bolted on: roles and granular permissions, single sign-on (SSO), SCIM user provisioning, IP allowlisting, two-factor authentication and a full audit log. And because Zuuna is hosted in Germany and GDPR-compliant, with a Data Processing Agreement available, the question every European buyer asks — "where does our data live?" — has a simple, honest answer.
Getting started is quick. Import any spreadsheet, Excel or CSV, to turn it into a working board in seconds, and export your data back out whenever you want it. The Free plan is free forever with no credit card, and paid plans start at just €4 per user per month. Annual billing and self-hosting are available on request.
Zuuna is a natural fit for small and mid-market software teams, startups and digital agencies — especially across the EU and the DACH region — who want a capable, developer-friendly project tool that keeps their data close to home. If you have outgrown a simple task list but do not want the weight or the data-residency worries of the big incumbents, Zuuna gives you the boards, sprints and developer features you need, at a fair price, hosted in Europe.
